The machine doesn't stop when the empty water light comes on, it continues going without heating until it reaches 0 or you empty it

The pull door microwaves can be just as bad. Though with them you just pull the microwave off the counter onto the floor

We had an indesit idc8t3 condenser dryer since 2021 Hotpoint Aquarius TCL770G was replaced by indesit

These models were discontinued last year when they started to make the new style ones with a see through door

I am so glad we threw Indesit dryer. The worst spent money EVER was that dryer. And everyone near me that had them was extremely dissapointed. Fluff after drying was everywhere, on filter, around filter, door seal. Simply a mess while cleaning it after dryint cycle. Only extra dry worked (first few years). Loads and loads of damaged stuff as it dried on extremely high temperature even on low heat. Plus, it was SLOW as fuck compared to HEATPUMP DRYER!🙄… I am shocked it lasted over 8 years😢

I like how the looks of these have been largely unchanged since the early 2000s.

Interesting seeing the timer ticking over in increments - similar to that of the program dial on vintage washing machines, unfortunate that the pump is continuously running - assume it is one of the parts to quickly wear-out, also can it have a drain pipe fitted to drain to a stack pipe?

Yeah you can attach a spigot to the black pipe to direct drain. Yes the drain pump contuisly runs and is very small compared to other brands. And is a fail point on these but are cheap and one of the easiest to replace.

I would never have a Hotpoint/indesit hoover/candy dryer again. Horrid experience imo and Hotpoint left my clothes damp and smelling meh

Some were. Depends if it was made before or after 2016. Most were built after the recall. Look for a pot rivet in the back of the dryers drum.

You also mentioned that build quality is the best and good. No its not. Candy hoover are shite also regarding electrical but there build quality is actually good. They are heavy and solid and use bolts kind of like zanussi. These are light and flimsy. Give me a candy hoover over this anyday!!!

I repair way way more hoover and candy's than any other brand. And eventime one comes it needs its heater and motor capacitor replacing. Candy and hoover is the only brand to place their motor capacitor in such a way. That the only way to replace is strip down the entire dryer. Which is good since the whole drum will be running on a bed of fluff. Which you get with in just 3 years of running with regular emptying of the filter and cleaning of condenser. Hotpoint and indesit take 8-10 years of use to get that state and beko never will get to that.

Crap machines . Cheap and nasty however they do keep me in business as alot off people like them for some reason. I have tricity bendix and aeg. One is 20 years old the aeg is 15. Absolutely love them they have never ever put a foot wrong. When water light comes on it stops until you empty it. Common sense but not in the world off this hotpoint indesit crap

But that isn't a good comparison. A modern equivalent zanussi or AEG is in the mid priced bracket not the cheap bracket. Modern AEG and zanussi are getting way more unreliable. And parts like the heaters are ridiculously expensive.

@@whichwasher2007 yeh all modern machines are shit. Electrolux suffered from pcb board failure on the zdc range. Common problem. I'm talking about proper Electrolux and old school miele and so on. Comparing this barrels off laughter from hotpoint I would rather have a older crusader/hotpoint. They were alot better.
