Review - MicroFlow Coolant System

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Here we review a machine-tool coolant system from Micro-Mark. This is not the best solution for cooling the cutters / workpiece on your lathe or mill. In fact, we strongly discourage home machinists from purchasing this product based on our terrible experience. Even though it did not cost very much, it is not worth it.
Too Many Parts aims to provide viewers with brief reviews and how to demos presenting tools and machines of interest to the home machinist, mechanic and hobbyist. The demonstrations and opinions are based on equipment and machinery we bought and use in our home garage workshop to restore cars, build electric vehicles (EVs) and do general machining of metals (steel, aluminum and brass) and plastics (including urethane). We try to show you the good and bad features and present the pros and cons so that you can make an informed decision about what brand or model to buy and where to get it, hopefully at the best price.

So basically the magnet and pump are too weak? If I replaced the pump with something a little stronger and better and made a custom mounting fixture for the nozzle is this coolant system worth owning? I don't like mist coolant systems due to fog, traditional flood systems are very messy and wasteful, and the fogless mist systems are too expensive.

I'd imagine you could do that. I was thinking of getting one myself, but figure if I gotta replace half the parts with something else anyway, I might as well just come up with a setup from scratch from parts I source myself. If you can find a place to put a tank above the coolant nozzle, you can make a simple gravity feed system even.
