Wow, you even went to the trouble of sticking the camera INSIDE the car as you covered it! That's dedication to showmanship, man! haha

The cover looks like it fits pretty well. That's a cute little car. A bit hard to get in and out of but probably a blast to drive! My sister used to have an MGB which didn't have a whole lot of power but was still fun to drive. You could put the top down, from the driver's seat, while you were driving, and it wasn't a power top!

Just got a New crate engine for my little Japanese KEI truck. Got the F8A engine. 800cc 4 cylinder SOHC. An upgrade from the original 550cc 3 cylinder SOHC 😂👍 Love your videos.

It is kind of crazy, but here in the United States we use both metric and imperial since the ISO 2001 standards came out. It just depends on what we are measuring.

I would be curious to learn more about the soft top. I have a GBS Zero that I got together this fall and need to make something similar. Curious about what you did for attaching to the windshield frame as I do not see snaps.

Being a "Locost" I didn't have to worry about unoriginality. I have a 1/2" aluminum rod that hooks under the windshield corners, follows the stanchions, and goes across the top; it matches the outer shape of the entire windshield. The soft top is wrapped around that at the top, and is held tight against the windshield with adjustable straps that go over the roll bar and clip on to the seat back bulhead, and the back of the soft top has a bungie cord that clips on at either side of the rollbar. It was made by a friend who does upholstery.

Ahhh…I see. Thanks! So to remove the top you slide the 1/2” aluminum bar frame forward to unhook from the windshield stanchion? Or does the 1/2” aluminum frame stay?

@@kidrabbit84Corrrect. The soft top is attched to the 1/2" rod, the straps, and a bungie cord. It all comes off as one. The 1/2" rod hooks into small gaps under the corners of the windshield, nestled between the window frame, the scuttle, and the stanchions.

I hope you weren't planning to use that miter saw anytime soon...😅

Yeah, it's not in a good spot, but I rarely ever use it (this is the house garage, not my shop). I work with wood under duress. Wood is for wheel chocks, subwoofer boxes, and protecting my drill press table. (grin)
