Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this 5 minute review, I will present you the new Series III of the Lorier Neptune in Black Gilt. After covering the dimensions and specs we will take a closer look at the design and from which vintage watches the Neptune takes its inspiration. Moreover, I want to show you what changed with Series III, how the lume performs, and some strap options.

    I really like the compact format of your reviews. I have watched some very chatty reviews of this watch where the reviewers think they somehow get paid by the minute, but you get right to the point. Much appreciated. Also, great visuals with the lume demo.

    Great review! Received my v3 gilt last week. 7 days on the wrist and I'm actually so surprised how much I love this piece. Usually when I get a new watch I have a few gripes but this is near perfect imo. The case finishing is beautiful. I'm also so taken back by how much better the acrylic crystal looks than any of my sapphire watches. It adds a certain warmth and depth I can't quite explain. Every design element seems pretty much spot on. The watch also feels so comfortable on my 6.5 inch wrist. Also, the miyota inside is averaging about 3.5 seconds a day fast which is spectacular for this price range. My only small gripe is the clasp doesn't seem to lock when I push it in. I feel maybe this is because my wrist is so flat underneath? Usually I haven't had this problem before. Not a big issue as I now push the buttons in to lock it. Overall I can't praise this watch enough.. I couldn't afford a black bay 58 so I was looking for a under 40mm vintage inspired diver (that wasn't a direct homage) and this is spot on. Favourite feature is most definitely the acrylic domed crystal.

    Hi Cap, didn’t realise you were a watch fan as well. I’m a subscriber to your bike channel and watch all your videos. I have this Lorier but in black and white. It’s a fantastic watch and the vintage inspiration is brilliant.

    Real great review man!! This is definitely my next watch for sure! You and your quick and easy review of it sold me that much more. I’m actually gonna get the Falcon. It just looks so attractive and I love that its 36mm like most watches of earlier times! Cheers! Can’t wait to see more of your work! Subscribed.

    Great review with all the important facts and figures included. I’ve had my black and white Neptune SIII for about 4 weeks now and I love it. It is a perfect size, perfect fit, great build quality, and I pretty much love all of the features to it. I scuffed my plexiglass crystal on a door frame, but 2 minutes with some Polywatch and a microfibre cloth and it was back to new again. How is the accuracy on yours? I know automatics are not great for keeping time, but just interested how much yours gains/loses per day. Thanks again for this great mini review.

    Good video mate, definitely one of the best looking and quallity diver watches for the price. How is the movement feeling when you wear it or shake it to charge, did the rotor spins much cuz i have expirience with similar unidirectional rotor movements and it makes crazy vibration on the watch when it spins.

    Agree the waitlist was such a good idea. Much better than having to wait for the release date and then be constantly refreshing the page to jump on and enter your details before they sell out. I have the SIII in black and white and IMHO it’s a fantastic watch. I also managed to scuff the plexiglass, but 2 minutes with a bit of Polywatch and it was back to new again.

    Thanks for the nice review. I received the blue gilt today and it's on wrist now. Pretty special under $500 timepiece. I find that the hands show better than on the blue and white/silver which I also ordered, so I prefer the former.

    Excellent review as always. I've put myself on the waitlist for this very same watch! It should be shipping sometime in August. Based off your review, it'll be worth the wait! Any ideas what you might review next? I've been noticing Timex's new releases have been really good, and for a bit more, Baltic has a really nice diver. Looking forward to anything else you might review!

    Thank you for the comment! Next will be the limited edition of the Orient Kamasu. I am working through my collection one after an other. Yeah the Baltic is also amazing. I was thinking about the watch a lot in the last year. But atm I am very happy with Lorier and for me they are to similar to own both.

    Understandable. Because I only had the Falcon I can appreciate the new case without buying the same watch twice. In your case, I think it's worth it to upgrade to the new version. Maybe you get the chance to sell your Series 2 for a good price.

    Thanks Leonardo. I have the same size wrists and I’m on the fence of whether the Neptune iii is to big. I also like the new falcon ii in black, but I have the opposite concern (that it’s too small at 36mm). What are your thoughts on the size of each on your wrist?

  • @leonardoswatchlist4040

    @leonardoswatchlist4040

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@mrpineappleninja Since the diameter of the bezel is only 37.5mm the neptune really wears great on my wrist. Although the lug to lug of 47mm pushes the limits for me. But it's still manageable. I think the Falcon will definitely look nice on your wrist. Wearing 36mm is something you have to get used to, if you never had a watch sized similar. My subjective opinion is that a 36mm watch is asome for our wrist size. If you already have divers and want to try something else I think the falcon is a great choice. If you really love dive watches and you never had the right one for your wirst size the Neptune can be the one.

    Super Video mein Freund! Du kommst aus Deutschland nicht war? I am German but living in the states a long time now. Anyways I got the confirmation email that my blue/blue Neptune series iii is ready! I should get it next week sometime. I’m very excited! I really liked the Neptune from the series I, but the thickness kept me from buying one. As soon as I saw the series iii dimensions I put myself on the wait list.

    Just got mine. Absolutely love the watch and the retro styling. It is strongly reminiscent of a Seamaster 300. My only complaint is the bracelet kind of feels cheap and unfinished. The edges are quite sharp. I’ll definitely be putting it in a NATO. Overall, great value.
