Review: Craftsman Cordless Nailgun || Dr Decks
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
We're not known for using craftsman tools, so we decided we would check one out and see how it compares with our everyday nailguns.

This gun has made Me alot of money! I'm a kobalt guy but I have the straight brad and this framing and absolutely LOVE IT!! IT ROCKS AND ROLLS !!!!!
I like the noise had a paslode nailer for years and this sounds similar so I'm use to it
Good job on the review, man. Craftsman cordless nailers have come a long way.
you can get a battery adapter to use yellow batteries with it. craftsman often comes out with older dewalt stuff but with improvements made. sometimes they slip up and release something thats better than their flagship yellow though
Anyone else cringe just a little when he used his finger top to start the gun? Lol great review, thanks for putting this together.

I showed that to my father in law and he just looked at me like he does it all the time lol
Man, the last cordless framing nailer I used was the Paslode battery/gas guns. A pop, a weird chemical smell, a fan would run for a few minutes, a pop, a weird chemical smell...This Craftsman gun is way more impressive. It's not quite "hold the trigger, tap the nose, a nail or two comes out" like an air powered nailer, but...I could build a shed with that.

bro, that smell is propane. have you never smelled propane before?
Love my Craftsman tools. I could probably count on my hands the number of tools I have that are not Craftsman. Thanks for reviewing it, I have been trying to decide if I should buy this or the air one for finishing my basement. Sounds like it would be a great buy for what I need. I just have trouble letting go of my air tools, even though I have battery-operated one of the same types.

Then don't let them go keep them as back ups
Thanks for the review. Just got one from Lowes 312 buck's
I paid 325 and love it my trim guni paid 100 dollars and love it also uses them every day. 3 year warranty
Great video thanks for sharing 👍
I wonder what the differences are between the Craftsman and DeWalt nailers. It seems ridiculous that Craftsman, Dewalt and Black and Decker are owned by the same company but the batteries are not interchangeable.

My guess is the Craftsman & DeWalt share the same innards. They sure sound the same.

Its not ridiculous. That's how they make their money. Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi and Hart belong to TTI and are the same way and not interchangeable. The same goes for Flex, Kobalt and Skil since Chervon owns them.

Price. They want to make money from the upper class, the middle class, and the lower class. So they make different names brands with different prices, but they are all really the same. We are none the wiser. Sheep. All of us.
I just bought 1 Nd have had nothing but problems since I started using it. I shoot a few nails and then it stops activating the air pump
Would you say this drives nails better than the Metabo htp?
What are those docking marks in the wood for?
Does it have bump mode?
Looks exactly like the dewalt nailer sounds the same as well. nice review doc!

Amazon Canada has
Another YT reviewer shot this with the plastic cap on the front. You didn’t, I would imagine you’re using it correctly because you need the burs to grip the wood when shooting the nails. Am I correct?
It’s sold at ace and Lowe’s

Lowes, Ace, and Amazon
The color is fine it just has the wrong name on it. should say "Milwaukee". But some people like the old technology rev up.
I buy some Craftsman tools at Ace Hardware as well.
Like Craftman tools but that gun make too much noise ,just the on and off

Try to drive framing nails quietly. If you want quiet you'd better get a job in a library.
It's sold at Ace hardware and Amazon too
Must use HIGH OUTPUT battery! Another purchase! Regular v20 battery wont fully power nailer and no nails will come out.

When you say high output, what do you mean? I am thinking about buying this and I have a number of regular v20 tools

Probably spent the first 5 minutes going over what the review is going to cover too 🤣. I'd venture to say most of the tool "review" channels do anything but actual reviews 90% of the time, but they're really good at talking your ears off and wasting your time. Can't stand it when they label who the tool is for either, as soon as I hear "single use" or "diy grade" I just close the video, "there ain't no gd $300 tool "single use" you bozo." I would put my Craftsman brushless tools up against any of the M18's and Dwlts I've owned, excellent quality at less than half the cost.
💥Craftsman are usually just another brand rebranded with their name on it. I wonder who makes this? Edited…. It looks and sounds like a Dewalt.

Stanley Black & Decker make Craftsman and DeWalt cordless tools. Lots of the red tools look and work exactly like the yellow ones.
3 brands owned by the same company? That’s sad… That leads to worse quality and higher prices:(

It's pretty typical for tool companies to own multiple brands. Stanley Black & Decker and TTI make most of the brands you'll see in the big supply stores.
Debating..craftsman or Metabo HTP…..
Like craftsman tools, but that constant whining noise is a deal breaker.
Its way more then 75$
Does not take 2 racks of nails. Big drawback.
Guy did no preparation to understand the product prior to posting the video figuring it as he goes in the fly. 👎🏻
