I run all DeWalt (xr) 20v for work. But my 18g and 23g nailers are Milwaukee only because at that time metabo/ Ryobi/ Milwaukee were the only companies that had a 23 gauge. That being said I only shoot 2" out of the 18g and 50/50 the time 3/4 and 1 5/16 on the micro (it's max for both guns) and they eat. I've had zero issue with either Gage nailers and I've had them for around 3 ish years.( I use them everyday m-f) Buy once cry once...and get one with a good warranty 😂

Base board absolutely, so long as the floors are somewhat level. Hanging doors is tough, you can get away with using brads to hold the casing in place while you level and or shim, then follow up with a larger nail like a 15g

Ryobi doesn't make all the best tools, but in this case Ryobi makes the best cordless brad nailer. No other cordless tool maker even competes against Ryobi Air Nailer. I mostly run Milwaukee tools, but I am not a loyalist. If another tool company makes a better product, then I will choose the competitor. In this case Ryobi's Air Nailer dominates.

We have the craftsman and ryobi. Used the crap outta both of them at the job site. Air Strike is the way to go, cheap and it works without the headaches. Craftsman unfortunately jams so much that it gets super annoying 😂. Then retired both of them when we bought the Dewalt.

@@mrcuboid ah! I meant by retire is I keep one in my car and one at home in case the yellow is at a job site lol. Plus, Almost all my power tools are Dewalt. So getting that yellow brad nailer was a must for me, especially when the price was right at the time. For me, it fires smoother, never jammed on me yet, and I like the two modes(single/multi). If you haven’t started yet with any power tool line, get Milwaukee 18V (their nailers fires with less downtime). I might start that Red because of their nailers.

I'd really like to see the Ryobi against the Milwaukee Gen 2. I know who the different brands are marketed to. I have a plethora of Milwaukee as I find they are generally well worth the money. But since the Milwaukee is about 3 times the prices of the Ryobi, I'm curious to know if they are worth it. Sometimes it's just the "feel" of the tool. Other times there is a guenine advantage of one brand over the other.

Daaaamm that v20 is big for nothing. I'm a Milwaukee guy use mostly all Milwaukee tools on the job,but I always keep a Ryobi 18 gauge Brad with a 2ah in my pack out at all times. Having a 18 gauge on hand is Handy for so many things, I've used it on porch builds just to pin things in place while I set up other things. Setting up prehung doors holding it in place as I tap it plumb and level, very useful. I still use the Milwaukee 15 guage finish and 30° framer but keep a Ryobi Brad,go figure. Too cheap to spend$300 when the Ryobi does just fine lol
