I remember playing Counter Strike Source when a friend of my parent's saw it and was totally in shock. "That looks so lifelike !" The same could also be said when I just got a PS2 with Gran Turismo 3 and it looked so real I didn't even care that Rick James was in my house nor did I even care to meet him (tbf this was before the Chapelle's show Rick James memes).

There’s actually a couple of extra levels in which, if I remember correctly you play as a Magnaguard fighting Clones, playing as Yoda fighting against the clones, and playing as Grievous fighting against clones and then Obi-Wan.

The cool thing about this game was that the devs got an early copy of the script and made the levels. As development of the movie progressed, the game already had levels completed and couldn’t go back to make them more like the movie. George Lucas thought that the order 66 sequence was too violent and cut out most of it.

Holy crap, your delivery as Anakin is so perfectly apathetic.

Oboe's voice acting makes this 10x more entertaining.

Great lore detail. In the canon ending, Anakin said to Obi that "you underestimate my power". But in the alt ending where he wins, Anakin said "you underestimate the power of the Dark Side". Anakin lost because he was arrogant. If he had faith in the Force, he would have won.

This has become one of my favorite channels! I mean, where else could you get both extremely specific Star Wars references, and extremely specific Bionicle references in one video?!

Giving Anakin those dry sarcasm lines becomes so funny as the video progresses. All of the dialogue you made for the characters is oddly believable.

I can see why he thought it was an X-Wing, though. The ARC is canonically the precursor to the X-Wing design.

Legit tho, why was this game so good? It didn't neeed to go as hard as it did in duals, but we had counters, counter-counters, block breaks, battle-of-wills and epic finishers. Loved playing this with my mates as a kid.

I only had a copy of this game in French, and it was STILL one of my favourites growing up... And that alternate ending went crazy!!!

Now I need a full reading of the revenge of the sith script by oboeshoes

20:00 the x wing and arc 170 were both made by the in universe company INCOM, when the empire planed to nationalize INCOM (qbd pick Sinar Fleet Systems TIE line to fit the tarkin docturn of cheaper, non hyperactive, non shielded swarm fightsrs) they basicly started working with the rebel alliance as their loosing bid for the program that would create the TIE LN when Sinar won was perfect for their needs of a durable speedy and powerful hit and run hyperdrive capable strike fighter, you can also see the TIEs liniage in another clone wars Era fighter, the V Wing, a cheaper, faster (but slightly higher budget the TIE LN with shielding) swarm fighter you could deploy in large numbers to protect your capitol ships

More specificly the x-wing is a direct decendent of the arc-170. With the Z-95 headhunter being based on the arc-170. And the X-wing based on the Z-95. Also the V-wing being cheap and mass producable? It had shields, powerful engines, very potent inertial dampeners, and a astromech bay. Wiki also lists the pri e as 120k credits to the tie/LNs 60k.

I’m so happy to see Boga get the recognition she deserves. Despite not appearing in the game covered.

Glad to see how much love this game is getting these days. I loved it back in the day, and it still holds up imo. Great Lightsaber battles, and loved digging deeper into some of the locations/story of the film.

The amount of Boga content in this one video is commendable

Just to show my total nerdiness, X-Wings were an Imperial project (at least in Legends), stolen and used by the Alliance.

The ship in the beginning was not an X-wing. It was an arc-170 fighter which is sort of the prelude to an xwing. It’s on the clones side side since in the original canon the clones transitioned into the empire.

This has the best dueling mode in any Star Wars game... even more so than Jedi academy. This game has specific moves set for every character, no random slashes. You can dash around your opponent all you want, there is perfect block and you parry their attacks, regenerate life, there are even special moves when you hold square and/or triangle and there are clashes too. It has everything a dueling game needs

Star Wars lore, Bionicle lore, and even makes ric an mort funny, this channel has its all, one of the few videos that made laugh all the way, and that joke in the end at 8:52 man I missed that Emperor impersonation is so funny!

omg ' upgrade youngling slaying or the wife choking' actually laughed out loud. Thank you very much. :)

The additional content for 1v1 matches on this was exceptional.

in the multiplayer battle mode general grievous has an unblockable grapple back breaking move you can just spam and win every match

The dueling mode in this game was incredible, used to play it for hours with my friends.

Anakin fighting Windu to death like 15 minutes. Windu dies. Anakin: "What have i done?"

I LOVED this game as a kid! I remember we only had square TVs at the time so the health bar was cut off screen, so I couldn't understand why I couldn't use the force or why I died sometimes. But it was so much fun I just didn't care. Thanks for unlocking my memories, Oboe!

This game, was my childhood, I absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed that they put the actual scenes from the movie in it. The proper way to create a game that came out alongside a movie, one of the very few that was actually a good movie game

That is a ARC-170 not a x-wing. That is both an appropriate and the expected ship you would see used by clones/republice in the 3rd movie game considering it first appeared in Episode III. starting out strong with a miss 10 seconds in my guy.

Joel from Funhaus did the best impression of that dude who owned Anakin. Your reference to him [big nose character] and impersonation was solid.

The combat system had a level of depth that modern SW games haven’t been able to match. Memorizing combos, grapples, saber lock escapes, and finishing moves made it super fun.

*Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Bounty Hunter, Racer Revenge and Battlefront & Battlefront 2 on PS2 were awesome!* The secret unlockable level was the duel between old "Ben" Kenobi and Darth Vader on the Death Star. It was a great final duel to a great game!

This game will forever hold a special place in my heart for legit starting a fistfight between one of my high school buddies and his big brother because they disagreed over how many points they should put into saber throw. Literally went from indoor voices, then shouting, then trading blows to the head. Irish Catholics, man.

Co-op on this game was so much fun!
