I'm just gonna pin this comment to the top, since I'm tired of hearing about it. "Fantastic" was definitely too nice of a word to use when describing Episode 3, I should have said "good" or "great" at most. It's not like I'm trying to backtrack, I genuinely don't think it's on the levels of Shawshank Redemption or anything lol Also, I was WRONG, Yoda isn't in Vs. mode, when obi-wan says "the force feels strong here" that's apparently him saying there's a secret nearby, and the background in the fight with Serra isn't other Jedi fighting for their lives, it's apparently Jedi demonstrations.

So if you Repent of your sins, and change your wicked ways, and put your faith in Christ you will be written in the book of life. 👌 🙏 Repentance is reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs, which is accompanied by commitment to and actual actions that show and prove a change for the better.👌 🙏

@@stevenbaxter9099 it makes perfect sense, in this ending it can be seen in 2 ways, one that because anakin wasn't conflicted and thats why he was able to heat Obi-Wan, he only losses because he is in a transition state between light and dark, in which if he is no longer conflicted and has killed Obi-Wan in the moment he no longer cares for why he became a sith, only for more power, and in the second by killing Obi-Wan he completes his transition to the darkside, because in his head he has already killed padme, and he now walks the path, they are similar, but they both make sense, because he loses to Obi-Wan he has his regrets which is why as Vader he is driven by padme

This is one of my favorite star wars games. Those enemies that you find irritating are easily dispensed with the appropiate combo and force finishers. The force is balanced around using a variety of combos, push, grab, etc. Not cheesing it. If you cheese it, it becomes an incredibly boring game. Also, the more you level up your force powers, you get an expanded combo list. This is an incredible hack n slash game and I miss it dearly.

HUH? The actors from the movie did not voice the characters in this game.

I absolutely love this game. I first played it on my PS2 back in '07 when I was like 6 years old. Back then, I didn't have that many games or let alone Star Wars games since there weren't that many around that I knew. The prequels were an absolute pleasure for me and most kids back in the day, and this game gave me everything I wanted. A way to experience the masterpiece that is Revenge of the Sith. This review is all around great, but I'd like to add a few things you missed. Let's start with the weird lines during gameplay. Tbh, I never noticed them that much as a kid and even now since I played the game some 6 months ago. They never felt weird to me, but now that I've seen this video, yeah I would have to agree they are a bit odd and out of place at times, but I don't think they harm the overall experience. Let's get to the gameplay itself. It's absolutely mind-blowing how a game released in 2005 still holds up to this day as one of the best lightsaber combat systems ever created. It feels so smooth and real, especially during boss battles, but more on that later. The combos are a very good way to spice up the combat since they deal tons of damage if done in the right situation. All of them have their uses and once you master them, levels like Attack of the clones and Assassination on Mustafar which are a pain in the ass, become smooth sailing. The enemy variety is, again, something this game nailed. You mentioned how some enemies are very annoying and badly designed, with which I would have to disagree. The only one I can put in that category is the stun cunt on Mustafar, Jesus that guy always brings out the worst in me. The Magnaguards might seem a bit overpowered, but that's what they should be if they're the personal guards of General Grievous. I believe they are the right amount of difficult. They can be killed easily if you time your attacks right, but you should never rush them since they can punish you very quickly. The spider droids are a similar case. Just don't rush them and time your attacks correctly in-between theirs, and it should be fine. Also try to stay in the middle of the room since they can corner you and get a few very powerful attacks in. The double-bladed Jedi and the neimodian brute are more or less the same. They are quite sluggish and slow, so you should try to go for long range attacks if possible. If not, don't stand too close to them, since both have extremely punishing close attacks. Out of the two, I would say The Jedi is harder to deal with because he can block most of what you throw at him. For me, he was always the hardest enemy in the game to deal with. I think those are the only ones you pointed out in the video, but I might be mistaken. This comment is already getting too long, but I just have to talk about the boss battles, since they are pure genius. Back when I first played the game, I believe it took me about 8-9 months to complete it. The game is hard to this day, and it seemed impossible for me back in the day to get past some boss battles. I got stuck on Dooku for about 2 weeks, Grievous, for about a week, Mace for about 2 months, Cin Dralig for about 2 months and Anakin/Obi-Wan for about 2-3 months. I've never felt such satisfaction in a video game as the first time I defeated Dooku. The great thing about the boss fights is the different staging of them. Dooku always comes to mind when talking about this. During his first stage, you have Obi-Wan helping you around and getting the upper hand on Dooku is easy. The second stage tho is where shit really hits the fan, Dooku becomes more aggressive and starts hitting you with new combos which are hard to dodge if he corners you, which happens a lot in that narrow area. In the third stage, his attacks are mostly the same, but he calls the help of the super battle droids, which can be a real pain in the ass if you don't deal with them quickly. During the final stage, Dooku becomes even more aggressive and starts hitting you with even more new combos, so you have to adapt to them as well. At that point, both of you are on lower HP, so even the smallest mistake can cost you to restart since there are no checkpoints during boss battles. The Grievous one is the last one I'm going to talk about. Grievous is arguably the easiest one of the bunch, but he's still quite the challenge. During the first stage, he tries to corner you at every single moment, which is very dangerous because his attacks deal tons of damage. The area where that happens might appear to be big, but believe me it's very small once you try to escape from being cornered. Your goal during this stage is to lose as little health as possible because if you lose more than half you're pretty much dead. The second stage is larger so grievous won't try to corner you as much, but he starts using long range attacks like shooting with the blaster. On the third one he starts using all of his weird (and I mean really weird) combos which are very powerful, but I'd say easier to dodge than his regular ones. The second and third stages are easier than the first, but if you're playing it for the first time, Grievous would have most likely melted you during his first stage, so you would find yourself dying the most during those. His final stage is where he becomes a fucking damage machine(Not that he already wasn't). He pulls out all four lightsabers, which make his attacks deadly, and I'm talking death in like a 2-3 hits if you're low. Blocking and counter attacking become essential during than one. I can go on and on about the bosses and how each one is pure genius, but this comment is already the length of a student report, so I'm going to stop here. I can't say too much about the versus mode since I didn't have many friends who liked Star Wars back then, but I've heard it's great fun. The Bonus and Co-op missions are also fun, but they feel more like cut out content(which most of them are) than actual levels. All in all great video and presentation for an absolutely amazing game. TL;DR, A bit of an expansion to the video with some of my thoughts, experience and slight corrections

God I love this game! (And the movie too, Ep. III is my favorite one) So many fond memories of me and my cousin duking it out in the VS mode and encountering some strange shenanigans. I don't know if you experienced this during your time, but occasionally Ben Kenobi would float during his death animation. Wish I still had this :/ They need to remaster and expand on this game. Or-better yet-do a Lego Star Wars thing where instead of Ep. 3 you, have all the movies and play them out like this. With bonus ester egg levels of characters we never got to play in the campaign(s). The vs. mode would *ideally* be packed and could even feature Legends characters like Starkiller, Revan, & Kyle Katarn. Even new ones like Cal Kestis and Kanan. So much potential!

Great video! I don't know if you take suggestions but maybe you'd be interested in covering the PS2/Wii version of the Force Unleashed? It's less talked about than the 360/PS3 versions. It seems right up your alley with your Retro PS2 arc going on.

You should try the Movie Battles II mod. It's basically the dedicated Star Wars fighting game you're envisioning, but with a control scheme more like For Honor. It even has a -cult following- active multiplayer community. I also saw an incredible choreographed run of Anakin's temple mission with a few force combos you didn't figure out like pull into air stab, so there's definitely more options for annoying enemy types

So, I'm a big fan of this game, loved it since I was a kid. I will say that it doesn't really state alot of the combos, and you have to figure them out for yourself. To solve the problem of infinite block, there is a special attack that can be done at the end of combos. If you hold the X or Y button, it does a force attack. It break through guards and does a good chunk of damage.
