No, actually it is not true. It happens much less than in the U.S. My boss, now the CEO of an American company, said to me he enjoyed so much in Beijing as he could stay outside very late alone. So does his wife. It never happened in Chicago where he used to live. Buy a ticket and go to China. You will see a different world from he talked, He just collected something and put it together. I don't understand why he attacked China so much. I guessed he had some frustrations during his stay in China or paid by some organizations. These things do scar you and I'm sorry to say you won't forget such terrible tragedies, especially if you witnessed them. However, time does pass and the clarity of the images and sounds of what you witnessed will dull. I know it sounds unlikely, but there will be a time when it will be little more than faded lights and colours. I think the mind tries to blur traumatic events, some being better at it than others. I hope you get some help to manage your trauma, if you haven't already tried to do so. I watched a gore video not long ago about a Chinese psycho stabbing a woman for minutes in front of a crowd... And no one ever tried to stop him but one man, who immediately step back when the psycho noticed him getting closer. This cases confirm it as common trend in China, people is too craven or apathetic to help someone in desperate need, even when they outnumber the murderer. I'm disgusted by Chinese society.

I grew up with guns, mom was a cop and trained me well as far as safety and respect goes and I was a pretty good shot when I was 10. Female, btw, I never knew of anyone in any of my schools in the 70s and 80s in Tennessee that brought a gun to school but things have changed. I want to know exactly what changed and why all this stupid gun violence has escalated so much because it sure as hell wasn't a problem in the past other than the rare isolated incident.

Don't worry, in some cities in the States the genius politicians have done away with bail bonds, have decided to set criminals free supposedly due to bloody covid, and to boot they're legalizing dope in every state so the idiot populace won't be able to make sense of what's happening to their own Country while the power mongers controlling things in the background watch civilizations who once espoused "freedom" rip themselves apart. In the States the power brokers couldn't let enough trouble makers emigrate into the Country so they decided to just let the dregs of society run free and wreak havoc. Slightly different method but the same result - depopulate, transfer wealth and regame the system with new rules suiting the victors. They realized that fighting mass wars with organized armies and costly equipment funding with dying fiat currencies wasn't working so if they could just get hoards of societies to fight each other it would be much more profitable and the same ends will have been reached - depopulation, wealth transfer and game over or new rules/new game. Just ranting here; But I seriously doubt these similar troubles in different western societies in different parts of the world are mere happenstance. I'm strongly inclined to believe there is careful planning behind the chaos we see in our world today.

When I first moved to Toronto 5 years ago it was bad but not as bad as Winterpeg. Now its insane, I get crazies every night out front of my building high as hell causing problems. A hotel a couple blocks aways turned into a homeless shelter so the community has gone down hill. This one crazy lady keeps doing things in front of my building including smearing her fecal matter all over the windows, taking over a porta potti (saying she lives there), came in and started breaking ornaments. Most of my building is elderly retired people and it is causing lots of concerns. Calgary has its issues now sadly because that was one of the lowest if not the lowest large cities in North America. It is still safe by comparison to other cities but thanks to stupid Liberal policies and bleeding heart Judges crime is going up everywhere across the country. I can't imagine how bad the Peg is getting because it was horrible in the first place. Was constantly the murder and stabbing capital of Canada.

@@AR15andGODYou may think that denying the most powerful firearms to literally anyone over 18 is bad, but many other democratic countries, consisting of 100s of millions of voters, disagree. And not only that, they disagree with huge evidence to show that arms control helps kids and the innocent not die, as countries like the UK, Australia, etc. had big spree shootings by angry adults decades ago…and, pretty much don’t anymore. Repub senators lie and say “welp…nothing you can do” when more kids blood is spilled, while knowing that other countries HAVE largely solved spree shooters, while they are increasing or regular in the US. And those other countries did it by not eliminating, but greatly restricting, access to assault weapons and military grade weapons. My moral compass thinks kids lives are worth more than some angry incel not being able to get a weapon to better kill kids, or some person who thinks “the government” is going to bust in their door and steal their prepping supplies unless he has an arsenal of guns at home…the latter isn’t reality.

You have to be 18 to buy a gun in the USA (21 in some states like Floridaman Florida). Every place requires a background check to purchase a gun and a record of your purchase and no, you can't use the internet to bypass it because every gun purchase has to be sent to a gun dealer for a background check. California where you live has some of the strictest gun control in the country. Many of these "school shootings" are kids stealing their parents' gun or incidents that happen in inner cities after school hours where criminals shoot other criminals on school property or school zones which extend outside school property thus are tallied as a "school shooting". Then again back in the 1950's when there was practically no gun control and kids could order guns through the mail straight to their house, mass shootings were non-existent. Maybe because people were more civilized and were more appreciative of what they had and were taught better morals than they are now. It is not the gun's fault, it is people and society now that is degenerate and decayed making these things happen.

So is it a conincedence then, that the western country with the most guns around is also the western country with the highest crime and murder rate? Look, i don't want to argue for or against gun ban or such, but you need to be aware of the cost of having that many firearmes around: Imagine you are some weak minded individual who got fed up with society and wants to take his frustration out on others, do you think he is more likely do do his dirty deed if he has to go into melee combat with a knife against potential stronger, more formidable opponents, or if he has a gun and can take em out from relative safety. People call guns equalizers, but that works both ways: wether you are a physical weak person wanting to defend yourself against stronger opponents, or wether you want to deal out a lot of damage against people who could otherwise overpower you. I am pretty sure that in many crimes in the US, the gun is not the equalizer, but the enabler, as without it, that weak minded person wouldn't have the gutts to even try. And thats also part of the reason why in the US there is so much more violent crime then in other western countries. Some say criminals dont care about gun control since they will brake the law anyway, and there is some truth to it, but only if there are actually enough guns around that they can easily get them in other ways. For example, dont you think all the knife attackers from this video would have liked to use guns if they had the ability to get one?

@@mjs22002 my honest opinion on that topic is that is does not matter whether it's a dictatorship or a democracy, if the leader is a person who does not care about his people the population suffers and such attacks are inevitable. social pressure is not that different in many western countries nowadays compared to china, it's immense on both side and people are starting to freak out. would've made no difference if china was a democracy or not, it's a sad fact but we can't change how the world works, we can only try to make it better by caring for others, even if they do not care about us.

knife attacks are scarier to me then gun attacks, at least I can hear a gun and try to escape, a knife attack is silent! I do not condine any violence whatsoever but if I unfortunately had to pick it would be that. this is also why mental health is so important in every country

There is the revenge against society, but one other factor that has to be taken into account when discussing these awful actions is the culturally built-in inability to consider consequences. Going through the mainland Chinese "education" system and being indoctrinated with the CCP, and actually even older, philosophy, most people here have completely been robbed of their ability to think even a few seconds ahead and consider what what their actions might lead to. Every decision is spur of the moment, every action is done because it seems like a good idea then and there, and when any consequence bites them in the arse they are completely taken aback as this was something they hadn't considered. This can range from something as trivial as blocking a busy road by stopping on it or blocking someone else car in the parking lot when they need to get to work in the morning, to the more serious of causing accidents through simple inattentiveness, to, as Winston pointed out above, outright murder. It really is insanity here, and it's getting worse.
