The Revell kit looks good lots of nice detail.

I just got mine too. Awesome kit. The all black hood was unique to the Boss 351, the black around the scoops is the Mach 1. It's cool that the way the kit was molded, it cN easily be updated to 72 or 73 with just a few new parts.

Revell put a lot of money making this tooling, does look nice, vin tag, nice touch 👍

Looks like a great kit! If you want that red paint to pop primer it with pink primer. Or if you're going with a transparent candy apple red use silver or gold beneath it.

It"s a great looking kit!,if you paint it Candyapple Red try using a pink primer underneath it"ll give a more vibrant red

I built one Mustang following instruction and painted the nose & body seperate then tried to glue it one...never again...next one I'll fit it on before paint.

I wish the REVELL COMPANY WOULD SEND A MOTOR FOR THE RC .

I was just in Michigan this week and stopped at my favorite hobby kit store. He has 4 distributors who handle this Mustang, and 3 of them do not have any of them yet. He said he ordered 2, but he chose the wrong distributor so he didn't have any for me to buy. It appears Revell has a distribution problem, and distributors are either not receiving an allotment or have sold the few they got already. This doesn't sound good so far. You are a bit lucky to get one, Kreg. When you were showing engine parts from your kit, it appeared the fan has a bent blade. Hope you can straighten it without it coming off. I like your red exterior paint idea. These Mustangs as 1:1 looked extra special in red, with black stripes and interior.

Wow! I'm strictly a military modeler, but even I want to buy this kit. I'm either going to have to learn some new techniques though, or paint it in military colors, weather it, and maybe mount an 88 anti tank gun on the roof 🤣🤣
