Kreg the amt version has the t top insert that goes in place after cutting the roof out. That is going to be a big difference in the build.

Pretty brave doing this to such a rare kit, I’m looking forward to seeing more updates. I’m also interested in the t-top 84 Capri . Would love to see more of that. It probably won’t fit in your spray booth, though !

The last shot of the body reminded me of when I was replacing the torque boxes on my daughters 65 convertible found out how flimsy the body was once one was removed

Have you seen the A4 Garage channel's videos where he made opening doors on a Mustang? I was fascinated how accurately that guy did the inner door jams. (actually the whole model enhancements he did was blue ribbon work) I'll be interested in seeing how you do the center line roof channel connection for the t-tops.

Great job so far Kreg! You gotta be really gentle with that. I didn't know if you've been following along with the wagon I'm doing where I cut it the tailgate, leaving just that really thin panel across the back. Everything was fine till I put it in the Tamiya body holder last night. Snap!! So keep that in mind when you go to prime and paint the Stang. Might be better to just hold it by hand

Thanks for the advise Pappy, was working on it last night cleaning/sanding door openings and broke off the left a-pillar at windshield... Yes very fraddrill! I will go check out your build, have not been on Y-T mutch last couple weeks to watch videos, need to get caught up.. Have a good one!

Hey Kreg great work have you try to fishing Ling to help cut your doors out I used to use it when I was younger you start to cut doors like normal then use fishing line as a saw

I know I thought of that.. My first car was a 63 Plymouth with a one barrel slant six, points and condenser.. Won't start? Check those points lol.. Your good, I know how projects go.. trying to build a 30' front porch on the front of the house along with everything else.. Good stuff.. Have a good one Dave, have fun on the kitchen!

Will usually order online from Hobby Nut, other then that my go to is Great Lakes Hobbies in Sterling Heights, a little drive, but worth it, or sometimes to Riders in Flint..
