The ford ltl is a repackaged italeri kit the first issue of. This kit was released was 1994 by italeri as the lone wolf kit it goes together great I have built the original kit the real truck was built in the 1980s

I was thinking the same, need a jig of sort to assemble it, keeping it true..

The LT 9000, was originally designed, and produced by Italeri.

Welcome to Italeri trucks. They also did a wrecker version that is a U.S. Version no Ford badging. Nice to see you building some Big Rigs. I like the Italeri kits but they are not perfect. Like the trailer frame I am building now. It was short shot. So I had to build the missing section of frame. Keep on Truckin 🐭👍

I had build some years ago, always liked them, after seeing them at the shows, time to get on one. Hoping it's a good build, although I'm always up for disappointing time lol

Hi Kreg, the LTL 9000 kit appears to be a carry over from Italeri 728/Revell 07553, this would also explain the unusual scale.

Hi Kreg thanks for getting back to me. I thought you would do some of the chrome, I seem to redo all chrome on my kits, I need to have a better technique of getting off the sprue? Thanks Lee.

Hey Lee, Yes for sure need to re-chrome some of this.. You need one of Tamiya's sprue cutters, have a nice flate sid to them for a clean cut.

After reboot of an Italeri kit. They have done a few others also

Both kits are nice ramp truck was a good build. The ltl 9000 is a rebranded kit.
