Revelations from Russia's Secret Archives

With the breathless tone of a newsreel, this documentary presents a particular American perspective on the 1917 Russian Revolution and its aftermath. In 1992, the Library of Congress exhibited documents revealing facts about the Russian Revolution, Communist Party, and the exercise of Soviet power over the course of 70 years. Revelations regarding famine, repression, Chernobyl, and more are illustrated here with historical footage.
