We knew you had good taste, but now we discover your talents and your boldness. I admit that I had thought of all sorts of decor possibilities for this stair climb, but this goes beyond anything I had dared to imagine...! It was Vincent, the director in France of the English company "Little Green", who proposed a decoration in your castle that would make visitors say wow: I think that his wish and his objectives are largely achieved here, however without ostentatious excess. Thank you Elize. We had a bit more rest. The paper is fantastic. It transformed the landing wishing two hours and look at it now. WOW. We often buy nothing at brocantes. Stewart and Patrick… I sat here and watched you put up that lovely wallpaper, then it transitioned both of you painting. My thought thought was, “ I am confused. I checked again the surroundings of the hall there and I realize wait a minute they are pretending to paint!” You tricked us and didn’t catch it right away. Patrick, your face as you looked out to your lap talking about the rain made me laugh. Why? We have had continuous rain here also, but thankfully, the last two days have been lovely with temperatures in the low 80s.

You two are soo fresh! WOW, the transformation you have made at the top of that gorgeous stair landing is stunning. The cows came home, and what a lovely home to come to. You must have searched long and hard for the perfect wall mural, really cool on that curved wall. ❤ Hugs and stay well.

The mural is quite beautiful and particularly fitting for the Chateau. Yes, you could have painted it yourself, but time is money and you have plenty of other projects to do.

Wall paper you just finished is perfect

Chateau du Theil is also doing a mural design in some of their rooms so nice to see one at Colombe as well. Theirs is more modern type and have seen a similar design in a dining room in a luxury home in the UK so you are in good company :) Fits well with the portrait over the door when it comes :) If I ever won the lottery I would have the same type of mural in my home is lovely. Vide grenier's and brocante's like any of these things are sometimes hits or misses and one off's but most times a better bet than some of the antique shops I have been to as well as car boot sales. I have had many things looked years for :) glad Irene got there safely and enjoying herself as she should :) and Angela too and all the guests. Lovely to see Tony and Jane taking it all in too :) Last time I saw any marching band was the London New Years Parade :)

It brings back lovely memories of when I am visiting with my daughter and son in law, driving to brocantes and antique stores. They live in the village St Cirq Lapopie near Cahors.
