Keep those unboxing videos coming, George. I have the same Enve handlebar and stem on my trek checkpoint.

Right on!
the $40 FSA Adventure NS bar is my go-to bar recently. Bargain bar in my opinion. I use them for road, touring, CX, gravel.

Once again, a nice video. Thank you for the education on tools (carbon paste) needed for these new expensive carbon made bike products. 🥰

Great pro-tip with torqueing down the shifters so they can move in a crash! And a request for Campy Super Record unboxing .. mechanical, rim brake of course 😛

You’re Welcome sir! Unless a customer buys that Campy groupset you won’t see an unboxing anytime soon. I wouldn’t buy that stuff with my hard-earned money. 😢

@@MrSandperson0you just keep setting yourself up for disappointment 😂 Waynos Photos and Luis Scott are both drinking plenty of Campy Kool aid and have Campy stuff for you too look 👀 at 😂
I hated my Woodchipper like flared aluminum bars so much! After 1000 miles, I bent the drops straight. Problem solved! Drops now usable. 4.6mm Lizzard skin tape transformative.

Ha ha! Custom bars 😊
264g for the new one.. just curious what the other/older one weighed in at. Just curious is the flaring for comfort? Definitely like the unboxing videos!!

I think it was lighter. It was narrower and not as wide.
Will ride nothing but my Ritchey Venture Max XL 50cm.

What’s the reason/benefit of the bar flare for gravel riding? I typically torque my carbon at 20% below max spec, then increase only as necessary, same as your recommendation

I guess these gravel people think that it’s better control on rough stuff. I wouldn’t know I love riding road too much.
How is the guy that is biking across the country doing? You gonna interview him when he’s done?

Stay tuned for the next REV Show … 😉
You failed to mention that bar flare is also measured in degrees. So some people like a shallow angle of say 6 and some like up to 25. It’s typically for manufacturers to spec them accordingly. Nice bars, but fall on any carbon bar and it matters shit if your levers are tight or not. Those bars are toast either way…

I didn’t fail to mention flare I purposely didn’t want to mention it. Also you’re FOS - lever tightness matters and crashing carbon doesn’t always lead to them being toast. I’ve crashed many times on carbon bars and they haven’t disintegrated into thin air. Please take your negativity somewhere else 😊 Thanks for watching though 😉

Please provide a time stamp when you mentioned the degrees of the flare? I didn’t get it? Well if you’ve a crashed a few bars, I’ll have to take your word for it! No negatives here another point view. Keep riding.

@@lazlo2511 no I didn’t mention the flare. It seems we are in a circular “argument” go watch the installed video.
