    I’ve lived in San Antonio Tllyacapan for a year and a half. Literally, heaven on earth. I was back in Orlando in May. Not, heaven on earth, so much. And I love Orlando. The main cultural difference is exactly as you said. It’s the charged energy. An undercurrent of stress. But it’s also very similar in small towns in Florida too. Here in Mexico, the undercurrent is soft and gentle. While on the phone, I’ve had friends comment on hearing all the birds singing! That, for me, sums up the energetic difference. Thanks for all you do and share. ❤

    Guys, another great video. I really appreciate the perspectives you're able to share. I 100% agree that the US is full of energy bordering on anxiety. It's been a rough week or two. This is the first video I've noticed cutting in/out of close-ups. I really like how that added a little energy to the discussion. Well done! Looking forward to the next adventure. I think the "energy noise" that I feel when I go visit the US is consumerism and keeping up with the Jones'. Always striving for the next big thing. Here in Mexico there is a feeling of joy in daily life and contentment. They tend to live in the moment here. Just my observation.

    I agree. There's a lot of unhappiness and people who are expected to focus on having more things, more money, etc in the USA. It causes a lot of worry and mental fatigue.

    Hola Craig and KJ! Bienvenido de nuevo and hope you had a happy pride month! One of the biggest differences between living here and the US is that with the myriad of different mom and pop businesses every street looks completely different and it's kind of easier to get lost with out the major chain businesses acting as landmarks. "Turn right at the Micky D's go about a half mile until you see a Walmart where you go just past and make a left at the light then you'll see a Pizza Hut and Burger King and the mall is just a little bit futher past the line of four story tall billboards...." Mucha suerte desde la hermosa Ensenada!

    Is it possible to get clothing for people over 6'2" in Ajijic?

  • @TrulyRemarkableLife

    @TrulyRemarkableLife

    11 күн бұрын

    @@Corgi_Saurus Yes... sort of. The tiangues will have some plus sizes (because of tourists), but the regular little shops and WalMart carry clothes that fit the majority of people here, which are smaller. But, I know guys that are 6'2" that wear a regular L size shirt - yes you will find that at WalMart. X sizes you are going to be much more limited. There is GDL which will have more of a selection, but in our experience still limited.
