RETRO SALISBURY STEAK RECIPE...how I elevated the recipe with two extra ingredients!
This recipe is so easy...it just takes about 30 minutes. Purchase your mushrooms sliced to speed things along. You have to try this for your next fancy weekday meal or for company!
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 large onion, minced fine, and divided
4 garlic cloves, minced fine, and divided
10 ounces cremini mushrooms (pre-sliced are easier!)
1/3 cup dry red wine
10-12 ounces beef broth
2 tablespoons flour
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
