Я играл на такой приставке к телеку: по типу тенниса. Две полоски по краям экрана и мячик. Два джойстика. Черно белое. И всё.

Spent hours at my friend’s place playing that game. Got a used C64 for xmas, tons of disks without instructions. Excitedly tried to get Jumpman to load, devastated it always failed. Then discovered the ,8,1 thing from another game, was SO HAPPY when that finally allowed Jumpman to work!

My favorite C64 game.

The moving ladder gameplay went crazy hard.

The Commodore 64 was super fucking advanced for its time that's for sure

Not really. The Atari's were designed in 1977-78 with a 1979 release date. C64 was a follow on machine.

I ran a c-net BBS on my c64 with 1 1541 2 1591 duel head and a pet duel head duel floppy drive. 5 megs of disk space. It was cool.

I didn’t grow up in this time but I love these videos and I love old technology

I still have mine, but I hacked it to work with my Nintendo, added two buttons to the side for start and run. Freaking awesome!

Everything was about to be able to control what you see in a monitor or tv for the first time. That was the revolutionary invention. The sensation on moving things with a controller was unique

And I thought I was old... damn. 46 here. Lol. The good ol days of gaming!

простейшая графика была на экране осциллографа - перемещалась чёрточка горизонтально и кидала бомбочки - точки , надо было попасть в цель на земле , типа квадратика . Афигеть !

Had the cassette version. It may have taken an eternity to load, but it was so worth it.

I caught a glimpse of the child in you.

I remember the 64. I had a gazillion cassette tapes with games for it.

Had a commodore 64 too, when I was younger.and practiced Basic language on it

Writing programs in basic was something else😂 I remember some programs came as text sheets in magazines.

I've never seen a c64 that clean .

actually older arcade games used leaf switch joysticks which many find preferable i.e Pac-Man, Mr Do.

I love it. It was my first computer.

The very first game I learned to hack at age 7. After 90 seconds of load you pressed the break key, it dropped you to a terminal. You then issued a long Peek command followed by a long Pole command, and typed Run again. It gave you unlimited lives. I obsessively played this everyday. But that gave me the itch. Once I learned I could make an computer do anything I wanted I started learning more. I got into hex editing the Bard's Tale series around age 8 or 9. And today I'm a Global VP in charge of a cyber security firm working my way up from a SOC position 20+ years ago. Reverse engineering or bypassing code has been literally my entire life from age 7. Largely thanks to this game.

Oh, this brings back memories. I'm getting out my breadbin!
