I'm always amazed by how much water you can "store" in a rug. When you use the squeegee, it seems like more water comes out than the volume of the rug itself!

I'm late to the rug restoration club, but same here! Even on the thinnest rugs there is so much water that the squeegee just pushes out of it. I also find it quite satisfying to watch that happen

I enjoyed the "soap walk ". The "sclorch, sclorch " was quite satisfying. It's amazing how fluffy you got the rug while it was still wet!

I think its a nice contrast of colour and i like the blue/ grey foam it makes. Plus it does a great job in removing dirt and bringing out the colours.

This carpet is absolutely beautiful. I love its full-bodied, deep, rich red colour. It would look lovely in any front hallway.

That was an incredible amount of dirt for such a small rug😳.Great job, as always 😊

Within the first 30 seconds I knew I'd love the colour of this rug but what you managed to bring back to life is even more beautiful than I imagined ❤😍

I love when you fluff the carpet up with the vacuum afterwards and it comes back to life. Looks like such a plush comfy carpet. I love shag. Hahah glad it made a comeback. 😊

Loving the scraping and brushing when it's thick and foamy best sounds going

This was literally my grandparents entire living room shag carpet when I was growing up 😂 watching you clean this brought back some very fond memories.

I know you often do rugs for the video, and let’s face it it’s the best free mental health care, but would it be economically viable to get a rug like this cleaned? An absolutely brilliant channel. I’ve watched other carpet cleaners, some with much bigger premises and equipment, but they just don’t compare. Your camera work & editing is second to none. You always give off a sense of serenity, which I needed today. Brilliant channel.

I think so in my opinion we as humans waste too much stuff because it gets dirty, rusty, and damaged. When in reality if we properly take care of items like this they will last a long time. It's why restoration projects cost so much money. If the item was properly maintained over its use then it wouldn't be so costly. And oftentimes I like older model products because they do last so much longer. This is honestly my opinion please don't hate. I am not perfect either but I do like taking care of products for the long term.

You truly do perform miracles especially in this one. Thank you for putting it up.

The rolling up of the rug and squishing all the nastiness out always reminds me of the morning after an all night drinking binge with a stop at taco bell.

I really want to see you clean up at the end of the day - clean the machines/tools and empty the trough with the pump/s. :)

I was watch some of your older videos, and love the googly eyes on the scrubbing machine. Also i kind of the the introduction that you used to do, as to where you found the rug and what you do with after its done. I also noticed on this video compared to some of the other you don't have the little cations say what your doing and why. I kind of miss that as well. I just love the way you bring these rugs back to life again. Its so satisfying to watch it must be doubly so actually doing the work.

I've always wondered about the different methods of carpet cleaning. This video was so helpful in breaking down the pros and cons of each. Thanks for the insights!

That sump pump is the unsung hero in all of this.

I love that thick red shag carpet. I bet it feels nice to walk on. Very satisfying to watch! I remember when I was a kid we had red shag carpet in the living room. 3 shade blue shag in my room, and fake fur on one of the basement walls (no clue why, but it was cool) . I remember before my mom vacuumed the shag she had to rake it. Yes, I was born in the 70s! :)

Another beautiful job! I think one of the most satisfying parts of the video for me are when you clean your work space ... I know I'm weird LOL

Pounds per square foot would we weird. Just an all around weight is fine. “This rug held 3 lbs of dirt and 2 pounds of water.”

@@ferretyluv A weight per area would put all rugs on a comparable footing. Otherwise it will always seem that smaller rugs are less soiled.

AMAZING Transformation, you took that Clatty (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for very Dirty) rug and turned it in to a Beautiful "Bright Red" useable rug again 👍🏆 In these days of recycling everything, you are UP there with the Best❤

You know, not only do your rugs look as good as store bought, but you could argue that with everything you do to clean them, they are even cleaner than store bought.

Love your videos so much and like many others watch to fall asleep and just relax my mind and body. Thankyou so much for all the hard work you do and time and effort put into these videos and restoring the rugs. Wanted to make a quick point that is in no way criticism more of a suggestion & question - Someone previously pointed out that when applying shampoo? i think it is, you pour a large amount on the bottom right corner (the slo mo) and pointed out the wastefulness in this. Surely it would be best to pour more on the top corner instead so that the extra runs through the rug and not straight into the drain?

First, I enjoy your videos. I had a cleaning service for many years, at least till I had a nasty back injury. Second, please tell me why you drain ditch empties so slowly? I would have thought you would have at least a 3 inch drain. Please keep the videos coming. Any shade of red is my favorite color of carpet to clean.
