I just use McKees floor mat rejuvenator, rinse and let them dry and they come out just fine.

This is good when it's not freezing outside or if you have a heated garage. I prefer a quicker way though so I just use spray nine nine solution, brush it aggressively then wipe it with scotts blue towels. i dry it after with a blower and apply a non-slip black dressing. ;)

I live in Florida so it’s never freezing. 😁 Diluting the product is key to avoiding a slick surface. Thanks for the feedback, always looking for new products so will check it out.

Nice video! So they both definitely look better than they started, but it seems like the CarPro Perl one still came out better! I question how slick the floor mat is after putting the product/protectant on. Even at a 20:1 dilution, I think it's still a little "slippery" to someone placing weight on it when they're getting into the car. What are your thoughts after putting them back in the car?

The Meguiar's was certainly more greasy than the CarPro Perl, so I purposely used that on the passenger side. Do not be afraid of the CarPro Perl for these mats if you have diluted it properly to 20:1 The CarPro Perl was more matte and less slick and is the safer way to avoid feet slipping. I also was sure to wet the mat before applying the CarPro Perl to further dilute the mixture. It required two applications to get the proper protection in part because of the dilution. You have to be thorough in wiping down the mats with a towel to ensure it is rubbed in properly. I gave these as a gift but the new owner says they have not had any slipperiness. Thanks for the comment!

Weathertech makes their own cleaner and protector but I just did mine earlier this week. Spray on some cleaner, used a tire brush, wash it off and applied some 303 and dried it off and mine look better and much cheaper chemical cost. That first set of mats with sprayer was a huge waste of chemical.

Thanks that sounds like an excellent approach to try as well! I've been using the 303 on the interior, might as well try it on the mats too! :)

Thanks for the comment. I have not tired 303 yet but know it is good. I use the CarPro Perl as a Tire Dressing as well so like the ability of multipurpose. Plus its also good for interior. I will get some 303 soon and try it out!
