My conclusion of that is that the name 3000gt stands for 3000 things you have to remove before you can do enything. Awesome car tho, I want One of those My self 🤘

Haha, so true. I'm in the middle of changing the engine mounts, turbos and timing belt/pulleys. There are two shelves of intercooler piping and other goodies that I've taken out just to get started. Thankfully there is no rust on mine ('93 VR-4) so it's surprisingly easy to work on. If you weren't a mechanic already, these cars might just turn you into one!

@@CBTalon97 Yea One of the first bigger things I did after I started on our workshop was overhaul engine and transmission + alot of minor things on a 3000gt VR-4 TT It was a big job that I had for sevral month since I had to wait for parts and just working on it from time to time when there was a gap in the Booking when I had got some parts. I have always said that I have a mastership for technician since I've completed that enormous mission! I went 3yrs in auto mechanic school and after that I was a year in the military as a mechanic on tanks, But that 3000gt was something else! 😂 Cheers from Northern Sweden 🍻

Jared my itch is that 1996 SS impala that was there at your Friends shop had one before but never ran like I wanted it to without breaking down. I drove it to my NCOES School (Army School) up North and graduated. I recently retired and bought me a Camaro fixer upper still not done with it. I love this car and wish I can afford one & is reliable enough I can drive from CA to Florida without any issues. Maybe one day I will be able to afford one. I got to many projects I can't afford it now and need room before getting it. Gorgeous 1996 Impala!! Glad you were able to get your car back it is a Gorgeous ride don't ever let it go again!! Intercoolers cool air for multiple reasons including what you mentioned @Tavarish. I just want to add that they also cool the air and this causes more dense air which allows the turbo to push more pressure through to the engine. The cooling allows for higher air density into the engine increasing compression
