Restoring a Plywood Yurt for our Wilderness Survival Camp at Green University LLC.

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I was given a plywood yurt by a guy who was moving out of town. I didn't know how big it was, if all the parts were there, or if it was even salvageable, or if it might be so rotten that I would have to haul the whole thing to the dump. Here's a look at the restoration process to turn the plywood yurt into a beautiful library and crafting space for our wilderness survival program at Green University.

Wow! That really came together sweetly! Remodels are so much harder than fresh build, but you all did it wonderfully!

Thanks Vanne! It was a nice hobby project, more tinkering than outright work.

WOW, outstanding, the possibilities are endless, , , , if possible, go down in the middle, make a large pit, some shelving and consider an interior or exterior wrapping tent-like fabric to better insulate in cold, , , keep em comin.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! We may insulate the inside sometime, but we've got plenty of other projects to keep us busy for now. :)

Thank you Michael! It was good practice for tackling a similar roof challenge on the tire palace. It was really helpful to try it on a smaller scale first!
