Praise the Lord! I had the sportage then upgraded to the cadenza and loved that car. Stinger is quick and saw them race in the quarter and win against formidable competition. On a side note you remind me of Jason Garrett former Dallas Cowboys head coach. I live in DFW but still a Rams fan lol. Keep the faith because buying flood cars could be costly. Samuel

A few things. On the oil change when showing the filter is looked in the video like there was some sparkly bits that were caught in the filter. You might want to keep an eye on that as it could mean you are having some rod bearing wear. It might not be a bad idea to drop the main oil pan and do a rod bearing inspection. You can always change them if they are worn too much. Also I didn't see where you did a front/rear differential gear oil change. Since this is a AWD wheel drive car that was involved in a flood this is a must do with the oil and tranny flush. Having said that I enjoyed the series. Some suggestions going forward. Do the mechanical stuff first you could have damaged the engine if it was hydrolocked. You should always start with draining the oil and removing the coils and plugs and doing a manual inspection of the cylinders for water. Get a boroscope and check everything out. If oil coming out looks good replace the oil but leave the plugs out. Check the gas in the tank and make sure it doesn't have any water. Pull the fuses for the fuel pumps. Then and only then attempt to spin the motor over without the plug in to make sure it spins freely. If it does replace the fuse and plugs and coils and attempt to start the engine. Just trying to save you in the future so you don't ruin a motor.

absolutely spot on with your comment , when doing a tranny fluid change drop the pan change the filter and/or wipe it out at least , then job done

How did you know the engine was good? I remember you starting it in one of the earlier parts and seemed glad it turned on. Did they test it at the auction house before listing it, or did you get to test it yourself in person, see if it ran? Seems 11k is a big gamble on if the engine is good or not from a flood car, could go either way.
