I love your videos, Hugh.❤️ This iPad turned out fantastic, especially considering the fact it was driven over😅
Love your videos Hugh! I have a repair shop in MI, USA. This video helped me feel confident to manhandle a iPad Pro frame/housing for a customer. Using a heating pad to make the metal malleable was helpful. That repair was 2 and a half weeks ago. Now, when I use the black spudger to get ribbon cables up I use what I call the “Hugh Jeffreys Method”. The quick back and forth movements while slowly pressing forward (99% Isopropyl alcohol on the end also goes a long way). I thought you might get a kick out that! I think you might also like the fact that I have it set up so people can rent a work station in my shop and repair their device themselves for cheaper then I repairing it. (Customers are to do their HW before hand if they call in. If they are a walk in then I give them pointers beforehand and they can use the iPads I have to access repair videos). If they feel they do not understand what to do next and/or that they are going to damage the device; they are to ask for help. When I guide the customers and we get to that point I teach them to use the Hugh Jeffreys Method! Thank you so much.
Imagine getting out of the car to see that. I would be sad with my iPhone 6 haha

Hi Hugh, as always a great video on how you repaired this ipad. I've worked with metal most my working life and can offer you a bit of advice on straightening out the frame, if you purchase a 25 mm nylon headed hammer you will be able to accurately sort out a lot of those dents and creases. Hope you find this info useful,.

My iPad Pro didn’t need to be replaced cause he fixes bent ipads
Hello Hugh, i watch your channel a while and i love your content! I have a question if you see this (sorry for the long history) I have one Ipad Pro 2015 128Gb that i aquired used last year and it have a issue what made the touch stop working, i don't know if it get like this when was in my backpack or something else, but when i took to Apple to check they said that they can't change the screen without visible damage, bcs could be something internal. They charged 5500 Reais (something around $900 US) to replace my device for a refurbished one and in my case it's impossible for monetary reasons (it's almost the price of a new one here in Brasil) Should i sell it on ebay, or find other ways to fix it? tks and keep with your awesome work

@@LowSpecEverything I checked the process for replacing the digitizer but i fell like it needs a lot more knowledge and equipment to replace it that i may will try to replace both the display and digitizer.
