crazy how allot of those older rides would definitely hold up today with all the simulator fatigue
This is what I remember when I went USA with parents.....Now its my turn to be the parent 2024 I'm the big kid 2 weeks and we'll be there 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

I was only a week old when this was filmed, kinda crazy to think about.
Twister was delayed because there was a Tornado in the US right before it was supposed to open

This one is special because this was the first year I went to Universal (as well as a couple of the Disney parks). If you could find some footage of the IOA Halloween Horror Nights that would be incredible.

I assume that whatever software that's "restoring" the video has some terrible AI that ruins the text on some of the signage.

That's true James, but in there defence (Topaz Video AI) the software is always evolving and getting made better so hopefully we will see some improvements over the years

I'm glad. I completely agree with you both as it brings back wonderful memories of my grandparents taking me to Universal. Both are still alive but not really in the shape to walk around the parks as much as before so thanks a lot for the video.

@@crashesclarets I agree with you completely and I share the same sentiments. I'm also really curious on what would replace The Simpsons as well as I'm sure it wont stick around forever. Luckily as a souvenir I have my model Delorean Time machines and the dvd of the first movie which obviously is a classic.
Best park in Orlando at the time and now it's the worst.

It’s amazing what attractions were open back in the day for HHN If you were to tell me Twister, T2 3D, and Jaws opened during the event I wouldn’t believe you But that’s awesome to see Incredible videos man. Loving seeing the nostalgia Also JAWS at night, easily the most underrated attraction during nighttime conditions
