Man the Jurassic Park River Adventure definitely needs refurbishment. It hasn’t looked this good since the opening.

They’ll tear it down and re-theme it to Jurrasic World like in Hollywood before it gets a good refurbishment

7:38 Spiderman using the kids head as a table for the signature cracks me up every time
"The Spider Signal!" Never understood that, so many questions, lol! However, the obsession with that ride was beyond insane. It forced the theme park industry to level up.

It’s a minor thing but I really do miss the red lighting on River Adventure in the T-Rex area.
The spinning on the cat in the hat was no joke, you can see that camera trying to keep up lol

People point out lots of rides that need refurbishment but Cat in the Hat you can really feel the difference. I think the main reason it's so calm now is because it was actually too much for little kids when it opened.
Do you ever run across anyone filming in the universal merch shops back then? I’ve always been curious what they looked like and have never seen any footage.

It was 1999 when we took our family to Universal, IOA wasn’t open then , it was Easter time but they were doing soft openings and we were asked if we wanted to go. We turned down the offer as we felt the kids were not old enough….one of my biggest regrets. We have done it since though 🤩

7:27 Shouldn't that fountain machine be Pepsi instead? It seems weird seeing a Coke machine at a Universal park instead of Pepsi at that time. I think that Universal should've sticked with Pepsi in the first place.

Your right there but the software I use to upscale my old VHS footage is always evolving and getting better, so this one is an improved version as well as this video has also be stabilized
