This is what environmental protection and true sustainability are all about. If there were more people like you, we wouldn't have a waste problem. This is the exact opposite of planned obsolescence, pointlessly scrapping and throwing away items that are still usable, be it cars, cell phones, electronics, nuclear power plants or clothing. Unfortunately, manufacturers and companies do not make a profit from this and therefore it is neither encouraged nor rewarded or supported in this society. I hope for all our sakes that this will change in the future. Thank you for showing everyone what is theoretically possible.
This reminds me of when I fixed my TV with a sledgehammer. It worked perfectly once I convinced myself that the new TV I had bought was the old one I had 'fixed'.

This video is completely true. I myself found an old IBM laptop with a 80486 CPU buried in a landfill. I gave it a quick once over with a water lance and it booted in Windows 95. So I went at it more thorougly with acetone and a Q-tip, and now I got a10th gen i7 with Windows 10 and a touch screen. I don't know how the hell you managed to bring a laptop in that condition back to life, but you, my friend, have achieved an engineering miracle! If only IT repair departments shared your skills and dedication, the billions of tons of e-waste produced worldwide, mostly from perfectly fixable hardware, would no longer be an environmental threat. The world needs to embrace the philosophy of make do and mend. Everything thrown away can be given a second life, is my motto. Keep up the good work!

GOOD JOB FOR A LAB TOP THAT WAS IN BAD SHAPE YOU DID A NICE JOB
I like the 'random testing of something here and there'
You are certainly well done that you were able to restore a broken laptop, but you made a lot of serious mistakes during the recovery ! After washing the motherboard and cooling system with detergents, it was necessary to wash all these things in distilled water, and then in pure medical alcohol, to remove the water and prevent oxidation of the contacts . After washing in alcohol, it was necessary to dry all the components of the computer on the soldering station at a temperature of at least 80 degrees, and not with a hair dryer ! When assembling the cooling system , it is necessary to apply thermal paste to the processor and controller crystals, otherwise the crystals will overheat ! Before connecting the power supply to the motherboard, it is necessary to supply a voltage with a limited current consumption , so as not to burn the chips if there is a short circuit somewhere in the keys or bridges and chipsets .

Wow, just like other broken laptop find and repair i saw on this channel, looks like all parts were left to sit for a day in the collective ashtray of a chain smoking house.

Oh! what a surprise, I never would have expected that, if you had only picked up the other bag there was a 65" oled tv in that one.
Sabe? Esse rapaz que restaurou esse notebook, é um gênio mesmo. Que Deus possa sempre abençoar ele. Algum brasileiro pode estar assistindo este vídeo m 2021. Alguém?

I love the way that he starts the job by testing the board with his, all bells and whistles, multimeter and then progresses to a kitchen knife and some sand.. My old mum would have covered this with a nice bit of wallpaper, probably flock... or some of that sticky back plastic
Hammer geil gemacht ich hätte nie gedacht das die alte mühe nochmal anspringt
So basically, it was just the case and some dust. Nothing missing, nothing broken, just the case and some bloody dust. Great job, buddy!!!
