I miss this type of modular very much, the national brand of Panasonic was very famous in my time, you could place larger speakers that were sold separately, I spent my time recording songs from the FM radio to the cassette. What a good times. They have never been made again 😙❤👍

Классическая ошибка при реставрации это мытье электронных плат в тазике с ферри и с водой.

the cassette player hasn't really been fixed as the guy has to hold down the play button for it to work. it's possible that the mechanism needs cleaning

How is that 'restored'? The cassette player obviously doesn't work properly. I don't understand how these people get so many likes / subs / views.

i guess its a fixed /restored .. I also did some of these kinds of repairs, I just replace the speakers, clean the housing, not repaint, but I no longer fix the tape mechanism since nobody uses it anymore.

agreed. Also from experience, speakers like that should be replaced, as reparing that kind of damage is often extremely difficult, and as heard in this video, results in the voice coil rubbing on the magnet (making the buzzy noise). While the cassette does seem to work, the flywheel for the cassette appears to be rubbing on something inside, and the buttons seem to be put on all wonky. Also suspicious is the fact that he holds the play button down, suggesting it doesn't latch down automatically as they should

I agree, this is definitely for the novice and that it fine. I have been getting into vintage audio restoration work the last few years and would consider this maybe 75% restored. More and more people each year are collecting cassette tapes along with other various physical media so the comment about people not using cassettes is invalid. Personally this deck is to cheap to spend much time on a restoration unless you are running a youtube channel.

Not quite a restore. I like the speakers restoring. Good job! The sound is not to good. The cassette sounds bad. You have enough space to insert a Bluetooth module.
