Мужики, вы в следующий раз, диск сцепления и тормозные диски не забудьте салидолом помазать, в принципе шрузовая смазка тоже подойдет) Так сцепление мягче работать будет, и тормоза скрипеть перестанут)!

I think the welding is messy, we don't do that here anymore. It is better to cut out the rotten parts and weld in new metal. You then bring the bodywork back to its original condition and have its original strength back. With doubles you leave the rotten parts in place and weld a plate over them. The rotting process continues, moisture can creep between the parts, so that the double plate also rots away in no time.

To even attempt this restoration is beyond my capacity to fathom. I'm 73 a retired carpenter in USA near Detroit. Very fasticnating to watch you work! Great camera work too! and no distracting music to deal with. You guys ROCK!
