The oven cleaner was great; its regular purpose is to dissolve grease in an oven, so it was perfect to dissolve the remaining finish. The outcome is fantastic - and thank goodness you didn't paint it! Cheers from Oklahoma, USA.

I've just watched it four times. Those repairs to the veneer were invisible. The little button looked like it had always been there. Seriously well done. I would LOVE to have that in my house (if I had room for it!) and I'd just have to put a record player in the top of it. I have records but no player! Who even does that? And store a bottle of jack somewhere there to. It's beautiful. Seriously, well done. (I'm probably going to watch it again tbh).

Love the two-tone finish on this piece, and the nice oak color and grain maintained. It almost looks Renaissance or Jacobean.

Just amazed at the attention to detail on the inside of the doors. There's the perfect pieces to flip off and use on the outside broken pieces. Fill, sand and stain the inside of the doors and only you will be the wiser. 👍🏻🇺🇸
