Hello, at first I wanted to use pear wood instead of beech wood, it would look even better. But the wood was damp and I didn't want to put it in the oven to dry, it could be cracked, so I took a beech tree, and a dark apricot tree, thank you

Hello, I have been using it for 3 months, it cuts not large branches well, but it cuts shavings even better, I wanted to make a hole in it for a rope, but I changed my mind, it is convenient for me, thanks for the comment and I made another video with a similar blade on it also lines like on this one, but the method of making that blade is not known to me, perhaps you will be interested, Thank you

Hi, this is a good tool, the lines are created with the help of heat treatment and this is its uniqueness, and it is strong, if the craftsman who made it made a mistake during heat treatment, then this blade would break like glass, at that moment when I hit it with a hammer. Thank you for watching

I don't think those lines are actually "Hamon Lines" like you find on a Japanese Katana, they looke more like what you get with a Go-Mai construct... I could be wrong.

Hello, in this case these lines are made with the help of temperature, this is accurate information, but recently I took rusty blades out of jashik with junk, bought these blades from different people, some of them, found at metal collection points. All in all, I chose one of the smallest of these knives, and after I removed the rust I was happy because there were 4 lines on the blade, but I can't say by what method they were created, maybe it's forged from plates, or heat treatment, anyway, I'm glad I was lucky enough to find such a blade, looks special, the video of this knife has already been posted on the channel, Thank you for stopping by and writing a comment

Hello, but this handle is comfortable for me and I have been using it for about 3 months now. This knife can be used as a planer, it has a very aggressive cut on wood, and as a chopping tool it is not bad, it cuts well, and I have not sharpened it yet, I ran the cutting part a little along the leather belt, and it is sharp again, thanks for looking and leaving a comment
