I love this rebuilding a dirt bike video

...I assume the saw was "planted" there in the ravine, and the "find" was re-enacted for dramatic effect...I think the rusty bar and chain was "added", since the rust and dirt pattern on it is much different than the saw....

@Moist Sausage ..Not putting down his mechanical and refurbishing skills at all...just a cheesy pretense to do the whole "find it in the ravine" thing..and if it had really spent enough time in the ravine to rust the bar to that level, there almost certainly would have been water in the crankcase, which would have meant rusted/seized crank bearings and corrosion/pitting in the crankcase...this is meant as constructive criticism, not a put-down..this guy really does have talent, I personally would not dilute the restoration content with the fake "find" thing...

@@hans5987 While he was reassembling it for example when he installed the bearings the socket repeatedly slipped off and hit the bearings themselves which no skilled mechanic would have done. Alongside the fact he risked scratching the piston as he let it rest on a piece of metal while reassembling it. Probably are more problems I forgot to mention but that's why I don't usually watch videos from the channel

So don’t lock the trigger on or choke it, just yank it over and “pretend” it won’t start? No grease on any bearings. No oil in the cylinder or on the rings when reassembling? Then lock the trigger and choke it after the “pretend” restoration and it amazingly starts. Who taught you how to put a chain on? You sir would embarrass a real restoration person.

Brilliant job

This bar is called a sprocket tip. It has two little holes on the round end where a grease gun with a small tip can be inserted. Grease can then be inserted into the tip and lube this sprocket wheel. It will make the bar last a lot longer. Each time the tank is filled the sprocket tip should be regreased.

А может лесорубу было плохо (чуть-чуть перебрал) и не мог нести пилу домой. Думает: оставлю, завтра заберу. Приходит на следующий год (когда вспомнил), а пилы нет. Её реставратор понёс себе домой реставрировать.

Самое главное было разобрать и покрасить из балончика корпус ( и ничего что посадочное под подшипник коленвала тоже надо красить ) 🤦🏻‍♂️ Я просто в шоке ....

Chain needs tightening and there's no clutch cover to disengage the chain rotation. It works but scary as it is.

@@mikeeichacker882 just post it as a rebuild video then. Y go out of his way to put it in the woods and put dirt all over it and even add some by the air cover, lol. Like its soo filthy and then he miraculously got it running again. That saw probably already ran just fine and he decided to re-do it. Just rebuild it from that state instead of trying to fool people. And if ur going to go that far at least put an edge on that chain and make it cut, after all thats the point of rebuilding a saw, is to cut like new right. Lol 😆

@@johnnykovich9338 the chainsaw was already destroyed and filthy as it was he just took it out there and just set it out there in the woods to start it out and then introduction of the video. It's not like he dirtied up the chainsaw and took the Chain off and set it there, it was already needing a restoration.

At least toss off the old chain and bar and get a new one. Very easy for a sharper faster cut.

А также видно что в смазке цепи отработка учавствовала уж больно всё загажено .Лайк поставлю только за то, что показал как разобрать и собрать и как самому прокладки выбить . 干得好！请勿使用用过的油润滑链条。 链条和轮胎将持续更长的时间！

Пилу не почистил, перед разборкой, стартер не разобрал, не смазал, патрубки не снял, карбюратор как следует не почистил, как и нагар с поршня, покрасил там, где не надо было красить - кривошипную камеру, места под сальники, под подшипники, под прокладки, вымыл зачем то магнето, молотком выбивал ось коленвала, при разборке, этого делать нельзя. Ну и напоследок залил отработку и поставил старую цепь, не потрудившись её почистить и сварить в смазке. Это не работа, а позор. Дизлайк, однозначно.

и ещё, само полотно, по которому бегает цепь без видимой выработки, на моей пиле полотно на пол сантима выработалось, это было бы видно, скосы в пропиле, не ровность поверхности, что то тут не чисто. В лесу типа нашел.

You need to stop using this premise of "randomly finding" something to restore! And don't fool this "dirt" that you put on yourself. Go to a junkyard and get things there that are more convincing. It didn't look cool! It took another dislike!!!!
