Nicely done, but should have it original restored. Keep the original color

Do you cover these with rusty looking coating so they just look abandoned? I don't usually see plastic rust like that.

You do realize that is a metal body. new flash, metal rusts! And the plastic parts are not rusty, they are dirty. Seriously, pay attention.
You got rid of all the chrome and made it look bland! How could you do that to a beautiful 1956 Bel Air?

Obviously not around in 1956, to appreciate the beauty of this car and the craftsmanship of it! Well to each his own taste in automobiles.
Would have looked nice Stock maybe a two tone paint job and some white walls. Sorry.

A great job well done sir. I really like what you did with it. It would have been fine if you had kept it original but making an old school stock car took just another die cast car and turned into something great!
Honestly, it would be interesting to see this '56 Bel Air made modern? Actually after seeing the end result, I like the Bel Air without all the extra Chrome Trim!
Pretty amazing you knew exactly how it came apart without hesitation. Almost like you’ve had that car apart before.

Doesn't matter how it was made to look in the 'before', the outcome is amazing.
WOW! Very IMPRESSIVE. Thanks man.
No geral ficou bom
Great, meticulous work. Wish it would have kept its original chromed parts and color scheme.

Or maybe the people that complained knew better, the reviews aint great for this..
It is an artiisc job,, skillful guy
... I know you do a quality job and I appreciate this because I have seen other videos of yours, but for me in this one you "made a mistake" in two things ... the front grille of this BelAir has disappeared, which is true in a real car the design of a miniature that reproduces a car that is real... would cause a lack of cooling in the radiator and consequently the loss of the engine ... even more so in a racing car ... the second thing is that the protective cage for the driver should not have that part of the horizontal bar where the door is because there would be no way for the driver to get into the car ... in fact it would have to be lower ... and even if it is a miniature ... he loses his vision of a realism that the miniature passes on to those who see it ... this is my opinion only ... it does not mean that I am right ... but it is how I see the work in relation to what you presented ... otherwise I liked what you did.
Love the colour with the white roof , even removing the side trim , but l would've kept the grill windows surrounds and bumpers in chrome and repainted the interior , red hubcaps gave the Chevy a stock car vibe though with the roll cage aswell 👍

BEAUTIFUL JOB 😮😮😮
I met my husband the summer of 1966 when he bought my cousin's 56 Chevy. He took me to the homecoming dance in it. It was raining and I remember it had vacuum wipers. Thanks for reminding me of that. I lost my husband 2 years ago after being married 4 months short of our 50th wedding anniversary. God bless you.
I love how the body of the car looked after you sanded it.lovely polished look.coulve just built the car back together without painting it.i think that look would be cool.but I just know you'll give it an awesome paint job anyway.

If that was a real classic car, the opening shots are what classic hunter's dealers find in someone's barn that was sitting there for forty to fifty years under a tarp or boxes of worldly possessions. I would be happy with just a model of a 56 Bel Air on my mantle like that one. I was hoping that it would be restored to its original form though.

Awesome job
Only problem I saw is that the driver would have trouble getting into the car and there are no ventilation holes for the engine radiator. I remember these model year cars racing. They would drill large holes in the front of the hood for extra ventilation to the radiator. With this car, it would overheat in just a couple of laps.

Oh Man, Another great job, yet you're so creative that I would have thought you'd do something contrasting and cool with the stripes that you removed. They were fantastic ornaments on the original. Regardless, nice job though in the future keep the side stripe on a '56 Bel Air. My girlfriend had a 1956 in our senior year of high school, 1967. It is a classic automobile that you gave justice to, yet the stripes - oh well, lo and behold.
