Respect The Range - Mike Tindall visits Salisbury Plain Training Area

Former England rugby ace Mike Tindall recently visited Salisbury Plain Training Area to experience what live military training is like for our Armed Forces. During his visit, Mike experienced the power and agility of a Warrior on manoeuvres when 5 Rifles took him out on the Plain. He learnt about the dangers the public face when accessing MOD land when and where it isn’t safe to do so.
After his experiences on the Training Estate, Mike is helping us share some simple advice for how the public ensure they stay safe and protected while using military land.
All visitors need to:
1. Always check training and live firing times before they travel
2. Stick to public access paths
3. Observe safety information including red flags, fences, signs and by-laws while on military land.

Thats actually pretty cool, that the general public has access to those grounds. They get a glimpse of there military in action. Really breeds transparency, trust, pride and a good sense of security. Thanks for the info!

I don't want to be on a battlefield - even a pretend one - unless I'm kitted out and know what I'm doing. Dog Walkers? Out for a stroll??? You gotta be kidding me - these people are insane.

The question is "Will any of us live long enough to see either of those systems in service?"

Most "reports" from the UK Ministry of Defence about the conflict in Ukraine happen to be false or very optimistic. Credibility fell to the bottom.
