I was at that game (as a Bulls fan), and the Bulls were terrible the whole game. Then he came in at the end and it everybody cheered as you see in the video. Every time he touched the ball the crowd was cheering, it was the most exciting part of the game tbh and by far the loudest the crowd got that night.

Yeah same. People around our age (mine and Steve. Not sure if your ages but yeah) are so hurt and fed up with the world. Not saying others aren’t. But we got something to miss and compare it to and KNOW it’s possible. It’s so gut wrenching to know what’s going on. I don’t celebrate birthdays or Christmas or anything anymore because there’s nothing to celebrate.

Seems like a weird way to honor victims of gun violence by just shutting down and giving into the evil and bad things that happen in this world. Obvi there are things that needs to be changed and evil things happen, but I don't think any of those people who lost their lives would want us to give up and stop celebrating. I think they would want us to not take life for granted and to celebrate life, which also means celebrate love and people. Things need to change, but to not celebrate and to give in to the negativity seems like the wrong direction to go
