So basically there was a legend, Kobe Bryant, he unfortunately passed away in a heli crash, and his jerseys were Lakers 8 and Lakers 24, so there is a rule called the 24 second clock and if you don’t take a shot in those 24 seconds, the other team gets the ball, but just for Kobe Bryant, they respected him so much they broke that rule in honor of him. RIP

Its called a hard foul to stop a team in transition. He easily could have knocked him down without getting a flagrant with a simple body check, and risked injuring Morant. Draymond was keeping him from falling to the floor which would have hurt more likely. Notice Morant's body language too, he doesn't resist him or get offended for the play. Morant pats Draymond on the leg. He understands what he was doing and doesn't get offended.
