The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feed and Seed".

I'll always remember this game because I was literally too scared to play through the section in Bryce Canyon with the Swarm, literally had horrific night terrors about the Swarm from age ten to like fifteen or so where I'd wake up screaming and thrashing around.

As a kid, the things that made you want to keep playing the singleplayer in these games were achievements, but the reason why Resistance & Killzone was praised is because they had actual good and innovate multiplayer for the most part.

The one thing that blew my mind on this is the glass physics. Shoot a window and watches sunglass breaks out then shoot the little pieces of glass left in the frame and then shoot the other little pieces left in the frame.

Gears did it best. Different guns broke different chips off the glass. And now CS2 even though its less dynamic looks super good too

Jumping into hanging sign to see if they swing around is a tradition I, too, have held sacred since the release of Morrowind. I *have* to slap the mages guild sign in Balmora every time I go through the city.

This franchise needs a reboot. I am still in awe over the massive multiplayer in the original Resistance game. I think it was 30 vs. 30 at least. for that era it was unheard of and it ran surprisingly well too. It was so good that I couldn't tear myself away to play Modern Warfare. once again, for that era...it's saying a lot.

It's a shame the multiplayer servers are dead, I spent many an hour playing the hell out of it

"Took aim down sights from COD" I think that's been a thing since Operation Flashpoint in 2001 ma'am

One of the best fps games of that generation, had such good mission variety and cool ass weapons. Some parts were scary as hell too, like the skinny runners in the streets of Chicago. Also the wooded town area is always in my head

The multiplayer for this was pretty awesome back in the day.

After the hexagons part you had the perfect opportunity to insert one of two clips. Either “That’s the same combination I have on my luggage” from Spaceballs or “Hexagons are bestagons” from that one CPG Grey video.

fun fact haze was the first game i ever got to play with a headset and that alone made it an S rated game for me

One if my fav franchises till today! I loved it back then and I would buy a remake, remaster it number 4 instantly man…the lore and the aesthetic everything was so good.

Fr Insomniac is too good, this was way better than Killzone and Infamous imo and just as good as Uncharted. Just didn't get as much hype because the graphics weren't as eyepopping as Killzone or Uncharted. And Resistance 3 was TLOU before TLOU

@@CombatCat1 there's some stuff in there, like in game collectibles and notes and stuff. Not a ton but it was there. I forget if it was this game or one of the other 2, but I think there were radios every few levels turned to a station where a random guy would be narrating what's happening with him as a regular civilian. His whole saga spanned like multiple in game levels. I always thought that was really cool.

@@kingwendi5010 I'm talking in comparison to things like Skyrim, Dark Souls or WoW, where there's multiple websites and entire KZread channels that explore and discuss obscure or weird details. There's normal amounts of lore in the games themselves.

i hope one day a studio attempts to remake haze and gives the player the choice if they want to stay as one of the corpo dudes or be a resistance fighter like they did with the avatar game.

The cooperative was criminaly underrated

I miss this game. I remember putting so many hours into the coop and multiplayer after finishing the campaign. Always loved the Auger

A Bionicle and Resistance crossover? YES PLEASE.

I really miss Resistance 2, I used to play the online multiplayer coop 8 player mode constantly back in 2008 or 2009. I played it a lot because my grandmother, who was like a parent to me, was dying of breast cancer so it became my comfort game where I could just mindlessly play and grind and have fun with others without pressure. The problem is the entire online component is completely gone, there's no PC port, and the service has been taken offline. So no way to play the online coop anymore, which really sucks :( Edit: But yeah I don't remember anything except towards the end of the Resistance 2 campaign for SP. R1 was way more memorable with the single player. R2 was more memorable with the coop online multiplayer.

I did not remember what game Resistance 1 was until you mentioned the great Robo Crab.

3 things we need from this individual game in this age of revisiting classics: 1. Remastered graphics 2. Co-op, online or offline 3. Weapon Wheel -Most important change of all.
