Where I am, Karşıyaka high valley houses, full İzmir and sea view flats for sale, flat prices are very reasonable, flat prices are 4/3.5 million and rent is 7/9 thousand TL.But this is a site with a pool of four plus one flats.

1.5 hours away and çeşme is a lot expensive. Becouse it is a touristic place and turkish rich people prefer there to stay.

As Beach Beauties said, Cesme is a touristic resort town and popular among more wealthy Turkish people, so prices would be much higher, but still lower than European prices for comparable places due to low exchange rate of Turkish Lira

Анталия больше курортный город, цены выше, особенно в сезон kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYOr18GJmJXAcps.html . В Измире я видела отзывы, что чаще отказы по туристическому икамет и не всегда владельцы квартир хотят сдавать иностранцам (больше бюрократии).

I personally felt safe everywhere, but probably like in every big city there are areas which are less safe. Maybe someone local can tell us ☺️

Are rental prices negotiable ? Haggling is not uncommon in turkey.

you can always try, it depends. especially if you offer to pay several months ahead. but I personally think it’s not the best option, you might need to leave earlier and will loose the money.
