actually there are lots of negative reviews from lots of RE gamers by the time RE movie in 2002 appeared lol, it shows how if RE movies really adapted every details of RE games or even more advanced than RE games, resident evil movies will be as legendary as marvel movies@@michaelcoulter1725

I cant believe that i finished this game in 2003, almost 20 years ago, by graphic design, engine, this game still looks fantastic. Probably one of the best game i ever played, and best horror game ever, it is even better thay any fom Silent Hill series, i even bought Game cube, because of that game.

I totally agree with you, this one is the best Jill ever to me as well, and in RE3 Remake they even gave her the wrong character, that's not Jill in any way to me. Speaking of actors used to model the characters, well, they did it in RE1 Remake too. Jill model's name here is Julia Voth.

Just played it this year and the game has aged extremely well compared to other games . As a huge resident evil fan I would not change this remake for the world , but I am curious of how scary this game will be with the video game graphics from resident evil 2 remake .

I know I'm late to the party but do you mean graphics or game mechanics? Would you prefer over-the-shoulder 3rd person or fixed camera angles? I know I'd prefer zapping (the process where one playthrough has an impact on a second run with the other character) to be more of a thing in all of the remakes. It irks me somewhat that RE2 remake didn't use it as a mechanic.

Love this game. played it through several times, always hated the door loading time. there is mod in the PC version to remove the loading completely, makes it so much better.

Honestly yeah it is better but it brings so much nostalgia seeing the doors animations on re0 and 1 so I just kept them like that :)

I forget which resident evil it was, but i had to have been like around 4 my oldest brother had the game and i was so scared of it i threw it out 🤣

They do not need to remake this this game is cold

I was 25 when RE 1 came out! I played it and was hooked then RE 2 and then 3 my sister, my buddies and I played them like crazy. We would hang out after work and play these games pissing off our wives. This remake is good not the other one for 64. The graphics are better just like in the PS1 version but better. If your going to use a 44 MAGNUM Smith and Wesson at least use Dirt Harry's trade mark sound effect. I never used the H Spray bottles, or the knife. I just waited for whole between zombies and did full back move. After getting tons of ammo I then dispatched the zombie's. It took me a 2nd time to beat the game under 2 1/2 hours to open everything up! Getting the unlimited rocked launcher RULED. I hated coming back to the mansion a second time for a dam battery for the lift! What a waist of time! Your missing useful urbs fella! If you use the first aid canisters you can't get the rocket launcher. Dude use the 44 MAGNUM on the bee creatures and the hunter killers it's a one stop kill!

Thanks to my 2 close friends, I really like resident evil

How come you can play it with 4K? The original game only offered up to 2K

One thing about this remake I never understood was Crimson Head zombies being unique to it. Just what was so unique to the Spencer Estate that V-ACT could only happen there? Given that the T- _and_ G-Viruses were leaked during the Raccoon City incident, why didn't we see them in later games? Or in _RE 0_ for that matter?

I've actually thought about it and I think it's because the Spencer Mansion zombies are older (in terms of how they've been zombies) than all the other ones. The zombies in the Raccoon City were infected only a few days before Re 2/3/Outbreak (likewise for the train in 0). By contrast, the T-Virus outbreak at the mansion happened several months before Re1 and the zombies have had the t virus in their systems much longer.
