The subtitle is the translation from Japanese, but Capcom didn't proofread this. XD

Wow I’ve finally found it, I knew I wasn’t crazy. I knew there was a resident evil game that took place on a ship. 4 year old me couldn’t even get past that first room😂 thanks for uploading, brought back memories.

The reason I think the subtitles don't match what their saying is because this might of been in Japanese originally and the subtitles were the English translation of what they were saying in Japanese before they dubbed the cut scenes in English.

A friend of mine had it back in the day and I would try and play it when I stayed over there. I could only get about 5 minutes into it before I chickened out. Idk what it is, it’s just too creepy.

For all the flak this game gets, I loved it. I remember playing it over and over with my brother back in the day.

I never knew about this game until now. It was truly ahead of its time. It’s got elements of Resident Evil 2, Survivor and 4 (which wasn’t released at the time) all in one game.

I love this game, it's Paul Walker trapped on a zombie infested cruise ship fighting a 7 ft mutant with high heels lmao

I agree the saveroom theme is the best. It gives me ethereal vibes. And I didn’t even grow up playing this game.

I love how the subs don't match up with the spoken dialog.

I havr never had the means to play resident evil games so I am extremely greatful for u to post them so I can watch them

If there's any Resident Evil game I would die to see get a remake, it's this one. Even though this game didn't sell very well, it's a classic RE game through and through, and it deserves some love.

Capcom won't bother remaking this one. Dead Aim is a mostly-forgotten about Resident Evil game. Most fans don't even know it exists. There would be no hype for it.

It was the scariest RE game imo, the music and sfx gives me creeps

I remember playing this on the ps2 as a kid. It used to scare me shitless and to this day I consider it the scariest RE game. The atmosphere and sound design are unparalleled. Morpheus is such a bizarre villain

This game had such a solid story and characters, they actually had charisma unlike past game that felt like people reading a script. It also caught the eerie dead air vibes like re2 and 3 did well. I hope they remake this game.

Yup lol. Honestly this is the only Resident Evil game that NEED a remake. Graphics need to be as good as Injustice Gods Among Us, re6 control mechanics n some flavor with the story to make it relevant enough to not be considered "forgotten "

It is! Dead Aim has some of the best atmosphere in the series. I think the zombies are creepy as hell in this game. Of all the RE titles that did the cruise ship setting (Gaiden, Revelations) this one did it best.

@@dxtremecaliber I'm not sure where you heard this information but Dead Aim is completely canon. The only classics that arent canon are the OG RE1s funnily enough (OG RE1 doesnt have a single canon ending and RE1R takes it's place), Gaiden (The one that turns Leon into a clone BOW), and any Gun Survivor after the very first one (the one on Sheena Island with Ark Thompson)

At first, i thought Bruce and Fongling connection will just be a cheap knockoff of Leon and Ada. Im actually surprised that they had a better and wholesome sweet ending in this. Nice! Though I dont see them to be in the level as the other recurring main protagonists, their contribution to the story series here is good.

This is the scariest resident evil game for me. The other games just went away from the "zombie" enemies.

Yeah, all the fans who are actually aware of this game's existence refer to Bruce and Fong Ling as "Discount/Dollar Store Leon and Ada" lol.

I am a huge fan of Resident Evil series, but never heard of this one!! It’s really weird that everything reminded me of Silent Hill 1, footsteps and doors opening and closing sounds, enemies movements, the inventory style… even the awful voice acting and cutscenes 😅😅 Thank you so much SNH for sharing this gameplay! 🌸

That's a very low bar, though. The Gun Survivor games in general weren't particularly good. But yeah, this one probably is the best of them. Dino Stalker wasn't bad either despite it being the black sheep of the sub-series due to it being a spin-off of Dino Crisis rather than Resident Evil.

its even more scarier when you have the brightness down and actually need to use your flashlight.

Its so bad its good. I honestly laughed my ass off at the ending on how Morpheus bloating form blows up like a nuke. I really wanted that to be the ending, because it was soooo bad.

This is my first ever journey of Resident Evil. I never played RE games. This is first, followed by RE4 (million times), RE3, RE1 remake and RE4 Remake.

The only ones confirmed to be non-canon are Gaiden, Operation Raccoon City, Survivor 2 - Code: Veronica, The Mercenaries 3D, Resistance, and RE:Verse. The scenarios of the Chronicles games that are re-tellings of events from RE1-3 are non-canon, but the original scenarios that were new to those games are canon.

No, it isn't...lol. Resident Evil has used the third-person perspective since the original game. Every single game in the series except for Survivor, Survivor 2 - Code: Veronica, 7, and Village is in third-person. I don't think you know what that term actually means.
