true. he is old but tbh, he and every other main character in this franchise should have a family. Chris, Leon, Jill, Claire and Ada are in their 40s or 50s. time to have some children. and if the next RE9 game will take place in the near future with Rose as a main playable character, this would mean the main characters like Chris, Leon, Jill and Claire are already in their late 60s or even dead. franchise reboot maybe? after RE9. or something. Capcom would have to do something with it, besides the remakes. I think a remake of RE5 and RE6 will happen in the future as well. we already know Capcom is doing a remake of RE4.

Chris was definitely in his prime during RE5, he's doesn't seem to be at that point going forward. He even seems sluggish in village, and to be honest. Even at that point, he still retains quick movement and physical prowess. But he definitely looks his best in Village.

Chris had a point when not telling Ethan because he wanted him safe with his daughter to locked up away from all this till he finds Mia again, but the van Ethan's in was attacked and irony he ended up in the village which Chris later helped him out to take down Miranda.

See had Chris told him and explained that was Miranda that they shot and they we're keeping him and rose in a safe location, He might have considered staying back and letting Chris do the job. Instead he saw his wife get shot and baby stolen which later got chopped to pieces. Ethan had 0 reasons to trust Chris at that point

@@natividadjosejhenrickr4575 that was ironically a bio weapon, sent in as a second wave unit. I believe the phrase: fighting fire with fire, applies. And someone in the BSAA orchestrated that, basically the plot of RE: Outrage in theory.

Yeah I liked him as Chris, but I must say that this one fits Chris better in this game. In 5 and 6 Chris' character had a bad temper (vengeful, screaming a lot and something like that) and RCS' voice was perfect for that, whereas in 8 he seems more calm and collected so this voice fits well for him

Bringing back the classic design of Chris is the best move Capcom ever pulled since it didn't worked last time when they changed Chris. Classic Chris delivered the expression of a seasoned zombie fighter accurately.

Capcom pulled another Devil May Cry 4 on us. Old protagonist apparently kills an innocent person in the intro that turns out to be the Big Bad/final boss. After the truth is revealed new and old protagonist team up and save the day.

I really like how his squad held him accountable, saying. Squad: Still, we should have told him Chris: Yeah (your right)

Chris: “do me a favor and try to stay under the radar.” Also Chris: hey check out what the cannon on this tank can do.

As I guess with people around me, Chris is the unsung hero in this Re 8. Very made my day and I yelled with great joy alone in my room.

Little did they know, Ethan is the perfect BOW

Yeah right? Are you even playing or watch the storyline at all. Baker family in RE7 is insane but at least they dont did Kano Heart Rip to Ethan like Miranda did to him. If not for the fact he is a mold, he already died from it. But I got to admit, he is a cool protagonist. Without heart and he still defeat the antagonist like a pro, very cool.

It's clear that Chris intended to have Ethan and Rose taken to secured containment area in case they turned out to be infected. Once there he could explain to Ethan that it wasn't actually Mia and that the real one is likely dead. Whether it would be Chris telling him or someone else Ethan would be trapped and able to grieve and not be able to get involved. Chris didn't know Miranda was still alive and didn't expect Ethan and Rose to and up in the Village. Chris and his team were more than capable of defeating all the bosses in the Village with their weapons, tech, training, and experience.

8:40 that smile is heartwarming. Like Chris sees his younger self in Ethan at that moment

I love how Village shows Ethan's growth as a fighter. When Chris' guy grabs him from behind in the lab, he immediately flips him over his shoulder as a reflex. But I also like that it stays real enough that he still loses to the operative (which would be crazy if he didn’t). Just efficient "show don't tell" story craft

It's crazy, throughout all these years chris is my favorite character.... But only because of re5 chris. And even though I'm not a fan much of any of his other designs, he's (re5) single handedly keeping me through the series.

This was peak Chris Redfield. RE7 Chris looked like a combination of Johnny Cage and Jeremy Renner. Also that one-handed table swipe at the beginning showed more of Chris's power and presence than that Boulder punch ever did. 😅

“Long story short, Miranda’s fucking insane.” Christopher Redfield, best story-teller ever. 😂

Chris' team finally managed to live. Then Chris had to watch Ethan, a civilian, die. Capcom will not give Chris the rest he deserves.

I WOULD love a dlc showing Chris side of his story, like what he was doing when Ethan was trying to find Rosemay, why Chris wasn't happy with the BSAA, (if someone could explain it, that'd be a great help.) to the point he bumped into Ethan in the factory, or when he gives the BSAA a piece of his mind, which ever. Imagine if it WAS him at the end picking up Rosemay instead of the other dude.

I rly wanna see Leon back hes super calm his calmness is somewhat incredible

This was honestly the coolest way to tie-in the previous games

So badass playing as Chris at the end just one man army gunning down werewolves

I've seen a lot of videos regarding this game. Everything is so over the top. The action scenes. The dialogue. The acting.

I know time is a thing that happens, but its still so wierd seeing Chris as an old burly man now. When i think of Chris i ALWAYS think of RE5 chris. Like thats just what hes gona look like to me in my head for ever. even 40 more years from now
