I look forward to this interpretation of Leon. Much like Jill, capcom is smart for making their veteran characters behave like *people* Yeah yeah it's cool they have "badass" moments, but it should come naturally, not like an action hero. That and most people would probably be a bit messed up by what happened in re0 to 4. Just saying. Side note I prefer remake 3 Jill. She's both badass and vulnerable just like anyone else would be after all that.

Remake Jill is cool, the game being mediocre doesn't help. But I agree with you, I'm looking forward for a more "human" Leon in this remake. I know a lot of people won't like it but this is the way.

@@justinianthe1st790 you do realize the insane amount of personality leon exuded in vanila re 4. Him being a badass is just a bonus, I’m not saying I’m against a more “human” leon, but by no means was leon in vanila re 4 an uninteresting character.

Whenever I see Michael, he reminded me of Sam Huntington in being human series(usa ver). They both so cute and charming 😃

i wonder why they had to reveal the game at the very beginning of the trailer in this one. the other reveal trailers were so much better because they built tension and then brought the reveal at the very end

@@kbthegoat824 Because capcom bends the knee, and want new players as well, adding Krauser will be a wild card for new players since they don’t know Leon and krauser’s history together.

@@YhwachTheAlmighty. well most of us that played the game in 2004 didn't know their history together as well. A movie about their history actually came out later on after the game. The game makes it clear they used to work together but then krauser was thought dead after a mission, that's enough to not cause confusion. It would make no sense for them to remove krauser.

@@kbthegoat824 Still tho, this is capcom, the same people who made RE3 and took out the clock tower. RE4 was the very first RE game I played, and but all the other games I just stuck to watching playthroughs, but the very least I did some research, the newer players are just gonna ignore it.

What are you talking about, only a few years have passed since RE2 so he's still young, besides his personality is far more immature in 4 than it was in 2.

Don't really think this was needed since RE4 is avaliable on every platform imaginable, and didn't age too badly at all. But whatever, I'll take it

RE4 has definitely aged not that well for a number of reasons. I could even argue that RE5 is the one that has aged the better of the 2nd trilogy.

It is definitely one of the least-aged 2000s games I can think of, but the one thing it can definitely benefit from is modern day lighting/visuals. Honestly just a bit of a boost in the 'horror' aspect that RE2 excelled at would be awesome. Tho hopefully there's still the classic RE4 cheese in the right spots.

@@SolidSnake240 It is worth noting that according to reports, after receiving criticism for RE3 Remake, M-Two wanted to keep RE4 Remake closer to the orginal game. But Capcom have decided to bring development in house as they want to make significant changes from og RE4, for better or worse.

I personally feel like remaking this one is a waste. The orginal one is still very playable and has the right balance of camp horror and action. While this remake looks like it's focusing WAY more on horror.

@@SparkingHero I understand it's not replacing it. I'm saying it's a waste because what will this really do? Instead of making RE9 or a follow up to the stories in revelations 1 or 2 (2 especially leaving a HUGE cliffhanger) we are getting a remake of a game that already nailed it. Re4 was balanced SO WELL think about it sending one guy to save the president's daughter it's a total 90s movie plot however here it already looks like they are going to be taking it WAY TOO seriously.

@@myslowedreverb5664 I just feel it's a waste RE4 was already good. Capcom always does this they make one good game (RE4 and RE7) then they start to decline. 8 was ok but it wasn't as scary as 7. Instead of seeing the same story told slightly differently I would rather see what's next in the timeline. *Spoilers below for Revilations 2* Wesker's sister Alex is walking around in a child's body maybe we could get a follow-up to that!?!?

Im agree with isla, looks like the same simbole of village.

I really dont like the trailer, but oh boy am I excited! This is the only resident evil I never tried and people always say how awesome it is. I love all the game already, so this gotta be good too. But man, the editing was weird.. the music was weird... its just a 3/10 trailer for me.

There's no point of this remake, imo, unless they tweak gameplay a LOT. If it's literally the same thing, just with nicer graphics, I see absolutely no point in it.

People really gotta stop saying this. RE4 is fantastic, but it's still a 17 year old game and with that comes a lot of dated graphics, gameplay, and writing. In no way will this remake be "literally the same thing." RE2 Remake wasn't "literally the same thing" and it ended up arguably surpassing the original. There's a lot of room for improvement with a remake for RE4.

@@BC-wt6dw Preach friend. Re4 was supposed to be "serious" but it's so campy. Not that that's bad but I would like them to try to actually succeed in a serious tone while keeping a bit of the camp. Also playing re4 with remake2/3 controls ooooooooooooh boy that's gonna be great.

@@BC-wt6dw RE2R is an amazing game, a great experience and I do recommend it for sure, but saying it was better is kind of a big statement to make considering 2R was incomplete, given the amount of missing content and how the scenarios makes no difference anymore past the intro, and how the story events overlap in ways that even the original managed to avoid. I wouldn't say either is better given that they're very different experiences, but 2R absolutely does lack at least half of the story.

From what leakers said, it's been in development since 2018 so more than 4 years(will basically be 5 once the game comes out).

@@purpleshy1502 Just speaking from my personal experience, of all the leaks the guy did that I've saw, all of them did in fact happen. It seems to me that you're just being negative for the sake of it, also, stop and think for a minute, do you really think they would pull a RE3R on RE4, the game that has the biggest amount of fans in the franchise? Doubtful, and the team doing RE4R is the same one that did RE2R while the team that did RE3R is a completely different one, so I think we can assume RE4 is in good hands.
