Resetting the Hips

Resetting the hips happens between deadlift reps. After a complete rep stay tight and bring the bar down to the floor positioned over the midfoot. Notice the hips will be high and shins away from the bar. Continue to pack the lats and brace. Bring the shins to the bar while keeping the chest up. Next, apply total body tension, take the slack out of the bar and perform another rep.
