Same I am claustrophobic too the extreme you're a brave woman for doing this no matter how freaked out you were and even if you had to be " rescued " as well. I rember once being trapped in a narrow cavern for three hours when I was a kid it was so scary I thought I was going to die there trapped underground where I could hear ppl trying to get to me but being unable to summon the courage to wiggle my way out . Thankfully my brother who was a very skinny kid but a bit older eventually crawled into the cavern and helped me out. This woman again has my respect she didn't need to be rescued at all and faced her fear in a way I was not able to do at six it dose not matter that I was a child and she is not this fear is real at any age.

I'm so proud of her!! She knew all the coping mechanisms for a panic attack and she did so so well!!

Loretta is so brave going back in when she felt like that. She put the animals' welfare above her own. Well done Loretta 👏👏👏

i’ve had anxiety/panic attacks myself and a good way, at least for me, to fight through it is to focus on something else, like your breathing, counting or other comforting sounds like music or someone’s voice. loreta did an amazing job here!

Loreta! This rescue wouldn't have been successful without you! You made it! Hats off to you! You are a warrior! 👏❤️

Lorreta is such a brave woman, she's always been at the very front of many of these rescues since the beginning. A true Angel heaven sent. ❤️❤️

When loreta started counting i knew that feeling, just trying to wrap your head around anything that you can control thinking about, im so sorry she went through that it was awful

We are familiar with that old saying, "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the sewer pipe!" This rescue took us to a new level. Unbelievable! Is there anything Eldad and Loreta won't do when it means saving lost animals? Apparently not! Kudos to you both, and especially Loreta for counting her way through a panic attack! That takes real GUTS and GRIT!

Omg, as a person with claustrophobia, I can’t even imagine having to do this. Yes, Loreta is truly a hero in my eyes. It’s one thing to put yourself in a situation like that for your kids or another human.....quite another for an animal. I love HFP. You guys are the best ❤️❤️❤️

Pia Well said she is all that and more. Loretta you have my complete and utter admiration. You are one hell of an amazing lady. I had trouble trying to view this as even seeing some pictures of enclosed spaces makes me feel uncomfortable and my stomach starts to do odd things, my heart feels as if it is beating too fast and I start holding my breath. It all began because some bright spark thought it would be a joke to lock me in a walk in fridge knowing the internal handle was broken. The complete and total darkness and fear were overwhelming. Needless to say his boss tore him a new one but the damage was done and to this day (over 40 years later) being in an enclosed space I cannot control gives me the heebie-jeebies. I take my hat off to Loretta she did all that knowing she is claustrophobic. What a lady.

I don't think I could do it. They had to knock me almost out to get my MRI. I couldn't have the head cage, the towel, or the headphones. Heavily drugged, eyes closed, and focusing on the loud banging was the only way I could cope. No way could I go down there.

We used to play in the pipes under the street when we were kids. But no way would I want to go in there at night! The dimensions of the pipe change, and there are drops where pipes empty into another. I was breathing for you!!! I actually thought the counting was a great idea! It confirms the passage of time, when you are feeling like you'll be stuck in there forever!

I’ve watched dozens of HFP videos. THIS is the video that pushed me to finally donate. Loreta is an inspiration and a true hero. From now on, whenever I face a challenging situation, I’ll ask WWLD (what would Loreta do)?

A panic attack is TERRIFYING. I’m so sorry you had to go through that Loretta.

I just ripped off all my superhero posters and replaced them with Loreta. This woman is something else. So strong, selfless, and passionate. A true inspiration. I absolutely adore her.

The mother not only went through a traumatic experience but also lost all of her babies at once :( I really hope she's okay

I don't cry over many things, but Loretta, pushing through her fears, was just so awesome, and it brought me to tears. Esp for the sake of the reacue. Loretta, you are a strong woman, stronger than you even knew. Eldad, you have an oustanding partner! And you did great, talking her through that experience.

I would enjoy taking on the people who thoughtlessly giggled like village idiots while their fireworks scared other people. I could care for them especially well, making sure they have a burst of explosive every 3 minutes 05 seconds all night for a week, without prior warning; every time they enter the toilet; whenever they pour themselves a drink; each day for lunch ... that sort of thing. I am thoughtful like that, to such sharing types. 😂🤣😂🤣

Loretta, I was literally in tears after watching and praying for you to accomplish something so hard. I couldn't have done it. You're an amazing spirit! You both are.

I never knew they were a couple until Loreta called Eldad babe a couple times. Makes them even sweeter.

I was on a school trip thing and we had to crawl through tunnels like this ( tho they weren’t at all as bad this) but it was very small and the helmet I was wearing was hitting the ceiling. I have claustrophobia and it was very hard for me to go through them in pitch black. Obviously this is no where near as bad as what Loretta went through but from someone who has claustrophobia as well she is an incredible person

Loretta is a real hero. She loves animals more than herself. Even I have anxiety and I can feel how this panic attack feels she is so brave.

Panic attacks are the worst! I’ve had them so bad before. I was driving down the road when one came upon me, I had to pull over. I was actually on the freeway and I just sat there. I didn’t know where I was I couldn’t connect my mind to my body and then a police officer pulled up behind me and helped me. He talked me through it. Thank goodness I’m on medication now, and I’ve been panic free for over 14 years.

Yes, those mri scanning machines you lie in are circular like this & extremely claustrophobic & you're in there a good while. It's a challenge... I'll say that. Not being able to stand up or stretch out is a big deal isn't it. Take care 🍀 🍀 🍀

Loreta is so strong, emotionally, physically, mentally. Pushing through her anxiety like that to save those ducklings was motivational and inspiring.

Loretta never ceases to amaze me, I can appreciate how she felt, I’m not terribly claustrophobic but in certain situations I have had panic attacks unexpectedly... you work so well together - another great rescue

For once, I was more worried for the rescuer than the ones getting rescued. I you look up ”brave” in a dictionary, you’ll see a picture of Loretta. Well done!

Fireworks is the culprit ....i hope they banned fireworks for good...it scare the animals for no reason..and this got to stop!!! I admire Loretta courage..shes truly amazing 🥰🥰🥰

Fireworks in LA are illegal, but there are not enough enforcement officers to stop everyone from shooting them off. Because many legal shows were cancelled this year, it was really bad.

It's important to keep your animals inside during a fireworks show. Unfortunately, these ducks are wild. Glad someone cared.

A good compromise would be to have the beautiful visual display without the noise. I understand that Italy took that route a few years ago. And ban all the devices that are purely noise makers and sound like wanna be shots.

I love what the 4th of July stands for. I truly do. But what these horrific noise do to our animals is heartbreaking. My 160# mastiff has to be doped up (per vet) on these days. I can’t stand it and I wish that some company, as was stated in the comments, would come up with noiseless, beautiful, colorful fireworks. That would be amazing. No noise, just beauty!

Loretta was so brave and in the middle of a panic attack. I know what she was going through.

Loreta!!!! She's so brave and amazing for all the work she does. I'm so glad she was able to help the ducklings. I'm also so glad Loreta was okay after she was able to calm down. Again she is so brave.

Having cared for a duckling like those I myself was like, "omg, must get babies" hearing their panicky chirps. Loretta was so brave pushing through her own fears to save those babies. And that rehabilitation center 😍 so many ducks, I'm in love. I could spend all day there. Also, note to self: save momma duck audio to phone.

I was in tears, for Loreta, and am SO proud of her! She is amazing! Many know what it is like to have a fear and then a panic attack, and she made it through. Incredible!!! Thank you for saving these ducklings, and for all you both do!!!

I can't believe Loretta was able to do that, I almost had a panic attack just watching this. Amazing!

Loreta, you are such an amazing woman! you were able to overcome your fears out of the love you have for animals, and that's just so inspiring for so many people who suffer the same and could see you pursuing your goal!! congratulations!!! and thank you for being who you are!!!

She deserves the Medal of Freedom; if only us ordinary people could overcome our fears like her.

PS., A big thank You to the beautiful wetlands facility that takes care of the ducks, egrets, geese and all water fowl , so cool how organized and well thought out their scene is, very impressive, loved it all!!!

Oh man, this is the first one to really make me cry. I have horrible anxiety and seeing her power through her anxiety to save these babies really just hit deep. And not only doing it once but TWICE! Just an amazing job Loretta. We are all so proud of you. Thank you Eldad for trying to distract her as well to get her through it ❤

Loretta is the star in every rescue video, seriously I have germaphobia, claustrophobia, you name it, so she gets major props from me. The baby ducks are so cute, so sad they couldn't find the mom.
