Rescued From The Tip! Numatic Henry HVR200-22 - Does he work?

Jeff and I went to the tip to get rid of a sofa bed and some furniture. Whilst we were getting rid of the rubbish, Jeff noticed that a guy a few cars over from us was chucking a couple of Henrys.
So before he'd taken one of them out the car I ran over and asked him if I could take it. He said yes, sure, it's all yours, so I slung it on the van and off we went!
In this video we'll find out if our tip find Henry works and if not, what we need to do to repair him.

Oh what a great find!. It's so sad people now days throw out stuff just because they don't need it even if it's in perfectly working order. It's always worth trying to repair before trashing something. I recently saved a Hoover Aquamaster S4470 from being thrown out. Came with most of the accessories including the tank and siphon tube!

Great pickup , I remember as a kid my dad taking me to the tip for old prams so I could make go carts . How times change now once it’s in the skip it’s the tips property. Lucky you got it straight from his boot 👍👍

I love this model! I have one as well! But he’s been put into storage.

I can tell the fan could use a clean
I pulled mine out of storage, the bucket on mine isn’t original (has 3D face and parking slot) it hasn’t got a bag in at the moment, as it needs to be changed.
Was that a retro Henry I spied in the workshop?

It's a newer Henry lid I think a hvr20022 it's defo a newer one as it has a rubber bumper
