They give up to fosters that can save them that know how to feed them with feeding lines, that have incubators, a little medical knowledge that can save their lives. They gave them up so they would have a chance…

Prohibitive medical bills likely. His cleft palate will have had to be surgically addressed and closed, a surgery which likely cost thousands of dollars. Additionally, he would have need specialized care and a very dedicated caregiver until he got old enough for his repair. He appears to be eating normally now so I can only assume that his surgery has now been done.

I never really thought about that. It was love for him. It must be hard for them to do that.

I am a retired nurse, and I would love to give him a home. My husband died a year ago, and I have been looking to adopt a puppy. I will love him like a baby.

Li'l Newton! What a perfect name for him. His bunny ears, button eyes and his adorable tiny loaf body make him look so lovable. And I got quite a kick out of him giving the fan a good scolding. I hope we see lots more of his progress in videos to come.

The way he kept looking away from the fan and right at the camera- it’s as if he was saying, “C’mon, help me out here! What IS this thing?! Can you please TELL me already?!” Total cuteness overload- wonder if the fan had been bigger than him, if he would’ve been afraid to get so close to it! Thanks for the adorable video - made my day🤗

He is a jewel! In my eyes he doesn't have a deformity, He is perfect!

⁠@@louise7552 A pallet is a flat square platform, usually wood, used to hold goods for shipping. They are often found in warehouses. You meant palate, which is the roof of the mouth. As you know, a cleft or split palate means an opening in the roof of the mouth through which food or water can pass. If that happens, the food or water can go directly into the lungs instead of down the throat into the stomach. The puppy could die. So he needs surgery to close the hole. Tricky to do on such a small dog. And thousands of dollars. Because of his birth defect, he should not be bred.

Sometimes they get a breathing prob. Not good flying in planes in cargo bc of their noses. Like pugs etc.

Absolutely precious. This tiny baby demonstrates all the best aspects of life: determination, happiness, fun, love, and loyalty. I, along with many, would take this tiny boy into our home and love him fiercely as well as give him a safe and wonderful forever home. I adore his vocalizations and how he obviously trusts these special people as he feels safe to be so himself with them. I cannot stop watching his every move. We have a 2 year-old rescue and how much he would so love to have this little brother with so much to say. Do I detect a baby @WalterGeoffrey in the making? L’il Newton is the most perfect name for him. I absolutely adore him.

This poor dog probably has many health issues like all designer dogs, people like you who think they are cute fail to realise how many die and the trauma many suffer. The whole tiny dog industry is driven by entitled people and money hungry owners of puppy farms. Shame on you all.

You mean vegan. Anyway, dogs do not need to eat animals at all. Cats are a bit more iffy but some can eat a 100$% plant based diet. I would test their blood just in case. Same with a dog but they do not need to have as many blood tests w/ respect to diet. @@TNT-km2eg

So adorable! Little Newton is growing up in a wonderful environment, perfect for any little pup just starting out in life. You can see how confident he is at such a young age. My favorite parts were when he was yelling at the fan and when he was sitting like such a good boy, tongue out, waiting for his treat. I'm glad he has sweet furry friend Sadie to keep him company too. Thank you for loving these pups the way that all dogs deserve to be loved! God bless all dogs!
