Don’t see Jimmy B fitting in with the Dubs. So pass on a trade.

If the Warriors sign one more guard without getting some height and length they would be proving that they are not interested in evolving. They have been doing that for the last 2 seasons. Not that Jimmy is not great, he is. Butler has too many miles on him and in 1 or 2 seasons you’ll be in trouble again because you would have to give up too much to get

I think JB provides offense , intensity , leadership and hard nose defense , however I worry that age is taking its toll on his physical abilities . Secondly what would you have to give up to get him ? I feel Miami would back too much in compensation ie Jonathan Kuminga . I think they should keep their youth and run it back with giving Moody more opportunities to prove himself . Kuminga is on the verge of being an elite player . What is Wiggins mind set ? Is Wiggins using this off season to get back to the form he displayed in 2020? What’s plan for Klay ?

Offer Wiggins straight up for a one year Butler rental. No extension. Throw in a second rounder if you have to. Would offer nothing more.

Is there a way to trade Draymond for Butler?!!! I would do that, plus Kuminga and picks. Butler replaces Draymond entirely, without the baggage, and added scoring. Heat getting Draymond and Kuminga could replace Butler defense short term, and offense for the future. Something around Draymond possible?

Edey is slow as molasses and not athletic which will translate into him being terrible defensively . And he also can’t shoot, you gotta be able to do one or the other. I’d rather get DaRon holmes who can shoot, pass, pick and roll/pop, is athletic, and can be a versatile defender

PASS - no way in hell. I watched Jimmy "General Soreness" Butler mentor "Wiggins & KAT" when he was in MN. What he's most remembered for in MN was his temper tantrums and missing games due to "General Soreness." Kuminga can get all the defensive mentoring he needs from Draymond. If he needs peer coaching for his shooting from downtown, I think Steph offers more than enough - Butler is mediocre from beyond the arc. If the Heat are ready to let Butler go, he should go to the 76ers - Nick Nurse & Embiid won't put up with antics and Butler will arrive knowing he's there to support Embiid. Get Claxton or Jarrett Allen if you're going to trade for a center. Dump Wiggins - IMMEDIATELY. Pick up a wing that can shoot and play defense. Klay if he doesn't re-sign, develop Podz on stepping into the shooting guard spot (his hussle and rebounding are major assets), and pick up a quality backup point guard for Steph - maybe Tyus Jones.
