Excellent analysis of JK. He really is a gifted player and young too! He’s fun to watch man just puts his head down and uses his body in all the areas he needs. And he can shoot too, future for him is bright I just hope the Warriors don’t hold him back..

He looks like a modern version of Dominique Wilkins. If he focuses on working on offensive and defensive footwork at the age of 24/25 he can be a monster. If he learns how to attack rim between defense lines using footwork on highest level, and he shows some moves already this season, he can be an unstoppable force in today's defense. His explosiveness is exceptional.

@@mikokb Yeah, but there's every chance Pat Bev got surprised by how quick Kuminga got up and was just caught out being late. He's always been a tenacious defender, if not a bit sloppy with his over zealousness but he's not intentionally dirty, like say that Dillon Brooks swipe on GP2 in the playoffs a couple years back. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt anyway. I like his passion, we need more of it in today's "I'm friends with everyone" NBA.

Kuminga taking over that JP role. This is so similar to when JP had that streak of 20+ point games when curry was out durin 21-22 and truly broke out. If kuminga makes his open threes, and develops a mid range pull up, with a tighter handle, he will be unguardable.

His on-ball creation will ultimately be what determines if he's a excellent role player or if he's the star he was advertised to be according to his potential. The issue is whether Warriors coaching will allow him to make the necessary mistakes to groom him long term. Not allowing him to be unleashed in seasons like this (where they're not necessarily clear championship contenders) takes away from the upside of his game.

Recently he’s been out with a calf injury, but you’d barely notice given the way Kerr plays him. I don’t get it. He knocks down open threes, can attack a close out, crashes the glass, and plays defense on a team that likes threes, needs rebounding, and needs defense. It’s a no-brainer, and it’s driving me insane. If you were to ask me, the starting lineup should be Steph, Moody, Kuminga, Draymond, and Looney.

It's is so bizarre how things can change so quick especially when the basketball gods get involved. A mere few weeks ago it looked like all the wheels were falling off the Warriors wagon. Draymond suspended, Wiggins playing horribly and possibly being traded soon, Klay looking really bad at times. No big man at all. Then all of sudden we bring up Trayce Jackson-Davis and he looks like a veteran. Klay starts finding his shot, Wiggins starts to look like his old form, Draymond looks like the valuable field general again after returning, and Kuminga looking like a superstar. Now we need GP II and Moody back and we can actually make a run. Its still so early.

Don't get me wrong, I love him and I dont want him gone, but if we were offered a decent stretch big (adding in CP3, Looney, Joseph, picks, especially Saric who's definitely gone next year) then it'd be very tempting.

JK being aggresive in the post is what's been missing for the Warriors. They need spacing but the spacing is creating by having a weakness down low. If he makes more than 60% of his field goals, team will have to start double teaming him which will open tons of space for the other shooters on the team. Yes, the 2 best shooters in NBA history... I'd say, he needs to still focus on utilizing his advantage to also pass the ball and increase his defensive effectiveness. But he's done a tremendous job this season! Well done JK!

I don’t see them running a ton of sets to get him the ball in the post or in isolation. Imagine with his efficiencies getting 20 shots per game and he’s getting 6-7 free throws. It’s possible but not likely but still a possibility. In 2-4 years I also see him getting more strength and muscle almost a 6-7 with a yannis frame/strength.

The only one who survived out of all the prospects. Kerr development process is too long but yield great results. This is a far better Kuminga than we drafted, what if Wiseman was still around, we can only dream.

My last name is krominga and i specifically remeber not being able to use my last name in 2k because "profanity" so ive always just remixed it some way and than one year jonathan kuminga was gonna be drafted and i remeber hearing his last name and thinkg that he has the only similar last name to me that i have ever heard, and i can use his last name in 2k now 😂 so its nice to see him grow in the league and get a name as opposed to fizzling out like many many rookies

I got 2 things to say, if Kuminga can develop his passing/playmaking skills and continue to shoot threes efficiently, then he'll definitely be an all star ond day, also second part, i always to ask you this but what is your favorite NBA team or are you just an NBA fan.
