Sometimes I see some beautiful work and comment and I think that floor looks so good I could sop it with a biscuit. It's just gorgeous. I think the cabinets should be gray or a rich warm tone of almond. Just a thought. I also absolutely love that table. I always have fun when I watch this channel. I'll tell you what...who doesn't like a clean floor...better yet, who doesn't like new flooring! Really nice Jessica...I had to stay away from light flooring because of the babies ...now as an empty nester I would liook at the possibility of lighter floors...BUT, I am an earth tone kinda person...so I truly am torn! I will say...when I see what I like there is no doubt so I'll enjoy surfing and shopping until I find "IT"...Loved the ceramics too...thanks for the reveal...always a pleasure...A little birdie told me you may be in the neighborhood!! 💞

The tile is gorgeous!! What a great job the contractor team did. I know you are so happy with how it looks and knowing it is all safe and sound! I hope you don't do the trendy thing of green for your cabinets. Everyone is doing green. We did our kitchen cabinets in soft white on the top cabinets and black on the bottoms. I saw Candace Olsen do a kitchen with that palette(Canadian designer if you are unfamiliar-had an HGTV show a while back) . Whatever you do will be stunning. Love the round table! Yes, a previous homeowner did not install the toilet properly, it was not 100% sealed (unless the seal broke at some point over the past few years). The person who installed the toilet then applied a bead of clear caulk all around the base of the toilet, which is a no-no. When you caulk the base of the toilet, you could not know if there was a leak as the leak is contained and does not run onto the floor. Instead, the leak runs under the toilet, into the flooring, rotting the floor and the wood subfloor, making a real mess. The take-home message? Don't caulk the toilet to the floor!
