Thanks alot! This really helped. Instead of a playing card, I used a business card for the initial prying and slowly pealed the back off. Then for the battery, I pryed it slightly then use a flathead screwdriver to peel the sticky part upward piece by piece and it went alot faster than the card method. Thanks a bunch. Really appreciate it! I really like this phone and it's a shame they dont allow easy battery replacement.

This helped. In lieu of the lubricant (isoprol alcohol I assume) you can use a bit of gentle heating from a hair dryer on low or a hobby heat gun and just go slow using a thin guitar pick/wedge to slowly get through the glue. I think it took about 15 minutes going slow and being careful to not flex anything. Thank you!

My battery in my G7 thinq drops battery quick playing pubg as well. I found some 3200 maf replacement maf replacement battery. I love my phone. It plays pubg well. Seeing of battery replacement is something i can do myself. O want a better battery than stock

IPA.....I use 94% solution. It works wonders in dissolving the old glue.

in my case, the alcohol ruined the screen. be careful with the isopropyl, because I need a screen replacement now....

The liquid in the bottle is Vodka mixed with 2 parts Vietnamese gall bladder bile.
